So could I just swap the spindles and brake parts from a 76 f250 to a 78 150 call it a day. I just got axles from a 76 250 and I don't like how corroded the steering knuckle is on the front axle i got out of the junkyard. But if I can just swap a few parts and buy new rotors and calipers. Then I won't need to swap the whole axle out.

Yes I believe that will work because the 76 had front disc brakes, you may have to use the outer knuckles. Regardless you have a lot more parts to do the swap then I did. Also you can sell your f150 brake brackets and put money back into your build those brackets worth good money, look them up haha. Don't worry too much about the corrosion on the cast parts they will clean up nice. Give them some good primer and paint. Hopefully this helps and good luck on the build.
