Here's our unboxing of the HP EliteBook Folio 9470m. This laptop was designed to be the business professional's ultimate accessory, designed to be thin and light, packed with a long battery life and loads of security features to protect your files. The system comes with an Intel Core i5-3427U running at 1.8GHz that can be boosted up to 2.8Ghz via turbo, 4GB of RAM, Intel HD Graphics 4000 and a 180GB SSD. I use the 9480 i5 for work but basically the same design. Just ordered a 9470 i7 and it's on its way. This thing is a beast even several years later especially for developers in a company. Battery is about as good as my SP3, best feeling keyboard on the market, and extremely durable.

Hey Jeff, I appreciate you doing these vids. Very informative and well presented. I wonder why manufacturers persist in making 14'' laptops with 1366x768 resolution, especially on premium systems...1600x900 is much preferable and higher resolution is the way of the future in general.

Great review, although the battery doesn't last 9 hrs. It lasts less than 4 hrs.

I actually just picked one up and am typing on it right now. Everything is super fast and responsive and it runs great on Windows 10 and Linux Mint with no issues at all. Great buy even by today's standards. I picked mine up refurbished on eBay for $250.
