Hey Andrew Tran ,, Awesome review..keep up the good work mate. i am torn between this laptop and the Pavilion Beats Special Edition laptop P030nr, i saw your reviews on both of them and i'd like to know which do you recommend? u said this one has issues with the screen and mouse pad..i'm liking this one more than the Beats special addition because it has better spects. my main laptop usage is for word/ excel and watching a lot of movies via HDMI. i rarely play games since i have an xbox. Thanks for the video.I bought the new 111 dx but am having big problems with the trackpad. How do I right click like on an older Windows XP computer? I have tried all sorts of finger gestures but the only thing that works is holding the touchscreen down for a few seconds and a menu comes up. This is very inconvenient for complex programs like video editing. I am even writing this on my old xp computer as it's much easier. Do I need to use a mouse for this to work efficiently?

HI Andrew.. I have an Envyx360 and there are no lines on my screen. How do you adjust the color, albeit mine is actually good. I think that it is the I7, but not certain. How do you calibrate the color ? My panel is pretty good, as it is much better then my Gateway and Dell. How do you get the keyboard to come up when you have it in the Tablet mode ? I don't know how to find out if it is Beats audio. It seems that I saw it on the taskbbar. I also don't know how much memory is on my h.d. I bought it from QVC and also bought the warranty. mohammed asal Hello Mohammed, I would go with the M7-k010dx. That model has a bigger display and a quad core i7 processor. You also get the Intel HD 4600 which is a pretty good integrated graphics card.

Thanks for the review, YES I have the same noticeable light Vertical lines all throughout the screen as well, I'm going to return it, I love everything but this screen "weird vertical lines" really is a bummer its like the screen is defective or ... really kind of strains my eyes on white screens like this one!.. calibur720 You're welcome. If you are having the same issues as me than I would go ahead and return it. It seems like there is a widespread issue on the vertical lines on these panels. Hopefully HP can get these production issues resolved. Yes, the Yoga series would be my recommendation. Thank you

I have this same laptop and yes it has that weird looking screen. Never thought about contacting HP but after watching this maybe I will! You said the RAM is not upgradeable but I did a crucial scan and it says it can be increased to 16GB. Did you contact HP about the screen? What would you say is your favorite brand of Laptop ? I hear HP is the top best, but every model I see that I like has its defects and I'm nervous on taking a chance on it . I seen your review on the m6-n012dx and every model before and after up to m6-n015dx has a defective track pad and if I pay that much money for it I'm not going to be acceptable to buying a mouse . Thnx for this good review. I bought one. i7 5500u with 8 gb and ssd 256. It is realy fast. Downside is the average display (this should be beter). and the poor WiFi (can not connect to 5ghz). Also fan is a littlebit noisy. Otherwise good value for money.

I just got this laptop in and I did notice that there are verticle lines in the screen. The lines are very faint but noticeable and I an see them at every angle. Also the build qualiy on this laptop is not very good. The righ side hinge on mine is crooked. It looks bad. I have also have noticed that the keyboard is not very responsive, the key need to be slammed down or pressed directly in the center in order for the press to be registered. One other thing I noticed is that I had to plug the laptop in for it to turn on for the first time. The battery was full after I unplugged it.

If you own one of these awesome laptops and you do want to upgrade the performance, I strongly recommend replacing the HDD with a SSD. I just got finished doing so myself and the difference in speed and multitasking was quite noticeably faster. However, the engineers who designed the casing were high on crack or something when they designed the back cover. You have to take all 12 visible screws out and then *PRY OFF the two rubber feet next to the hinges and take the 2 hidden screws out BEFORE you try to pick the keyboard up. Way to go HP, user-friendliness taken to a whole new low.

yeah buddy I just bought core i7 n mine also has those weird vertical lines on the screen but it's not big issue. issue is when i go out door n and every thing reflects on the screen which sucks n the Graphics but other then that it is a fine laptop. Thanx for the video

i do have hp envy (bang&olufsen) x360 - 15-w005na Keyboard (EU) surroundings and top is made of metal and it gives a bit weight. Also keyboard, does not bend. inside is 2 video card, and i have sometimes issue with vertical screen stripes. After closing is hard to open the top (i need to use two hand) This reflective screen is sometimes very annoying. Otherwise it is very good and quiet laptop. It does not heat up from the bottom (and from the left side), as my old ProBook. But weird is this it does not have CD-rom.

I have the X 360 with an i7 core. It has the vertical lines on the display. Other than the vertical lines on the display I really like this computer. I've had it for 2 and a half months and am thinking of contacting HP about the display issue and see if they'll replace my computer.

No. I still have it. I'm typing on it now. I kept it because it has an awesome sound card and it's good at multi-tasking.. Maybe I should complain to HP. The vertical lines really stand out against a white or light colored background. It gets annoying after awhile.
