The display looks reasonable to me for most purposes. However, with that being said, a more costly laptop can give you a much better display

Try looking for something different if you want to actively program on the computer as 4gb of ram is not enough if you want to do more than just googling something. The standard right now is 8gb but I highly recommend going for at least 16gb if you want to have multiple Apps open at the same time or even program.

My wife is a teacher and sometimes they teach from home live on zoom or whatever. She doesn’t do much else w it except email and such. Would this be ok to do that and not be super slow?

This is a good low end laptop with good speed and performance. However, with that being said, you might want to buy a separate external webcam for best live Zoom experience. The laptops internal webcam is poor but you be the judge.

Best to use a external USB SSD drive as a second drive. Only one M.2 2280 SSD drive allowed inside of case.
