HP Latex banner costs - vlog 105 - Print Shop Updates

Happy Wednesday print fam. Today we are working on some banners on the HP latex. We also have some more printing on the Konica and some heat transfers. I answer some questions from the comments before we get into the banner printing. With printing the banners, I wanted to go over the costs and what I typically charge.

Is it possible to print double sided flags on hp latex? Thanks for the answer

You can, but the 365 off the 3xx series is the only one that has double-sided assist. The rest you'd have to figure out how to align the prints.

How do you calculate how much to sell each product for. I started printing sings and stickers on 3m high intensity material . Im a rookie just want to get the shop in order but i lack experience . Any help.? What do i charge for 1 order

I made a calculator in excel to determine my costs. From there I have the margin I want to make and my fixed costs that I need to cover. I use that to calculate what I want to charge for my products/services.

When you account for $5 power for each job is that an overestimate? Is there a more accurate number for the actual cost of power? Thanks.

It's way overkill. I'll see what I can do to get a better representation on the actual power usage.

@@ttms Mainly to do with purchasig. I leve in the Caribbean and a couple of suppliers are telling me that they only sell to mainland USA and Canada. Can you shed alittle light here if u can. Also am i able to add the cutter later on if i get the printer only at first. Thanx again.
