Thank you SO MUCH you're a life saver! I have a HP Envy Photo 7855. I've been printing photos all evening, did nothing different, and suddenly the printer was like, you know what? screw you. And it stopped recognizing my photo paper in the photo tray. I cleaned both sets of rollers with alcohol wipes and that did the trick. So relieved. I hate printer problems. Stupid printers.

Thank you!!! I was printing Christmas cards with glitter paper on my Envy 7640, and it kept telling me it was out of paper. I'm a very technical person and had tried everything. It was hit or miss. Sometimes it would work, and then on the next one it would say no paper. It wasn't immediately obvious that it was a roller problem, and the rollers looked spotless. I'm sure it was just tiny fine grains of glitter on the rollers that I couldn't see. Once I cleaned them, it printed perfectly.

@@303electronics Thank you again.. I have HP series 7800 and it prints now but it's only black and white, no color and I have color left in cartridge.. but I don't see how water can be added.. if that's the case, let me know and I will try to add water.. my cartridge is 64xl HP

@@ANGELOVEGOD Mix hot water and windex about 50/50 and wet paper towel with the solution. Tap the color cartridge over the wet warm paper towel and that may unclog the nozzles at the bottom of cartridge.

Thanks , your vid helped me with the no paper issue... now I don't know why my printer does not print, it has 50% ink but when the paper comes out, it just come completely white with anything printed...

Ink has dried up if you haven't used the printer for a while. Mix hot water with windex, dip paper towel in the solution and gently tap the ink cartridge on it.

hello. i have the same printer and if i open the carriage acces door it doesn't say "door open" and it says paper jam in the paper jam remove section. how to fix?

There is a sensor that may be jammed. One of the holes that has a lever for indicating the door open or close. It is located on the same side as the main board, but inside the printer door.

here is a real challenge, how to fix the printer when is stuck on the loading screen, giving you no access to control panel and no device can recognize it.

None of this was helpful and I can't seem to find a solution to the actual problem. The printer says the following "Photo tray problem: The photo tray is blocked. Please adjust the tray and try again." I'm so very frustrated because I can't find the answer anywhere. And I just bought ink for the dang thing recently

Hi. The photo tray is on the main tray. It should move freely front to back. Sometimes it can get out of the rail and will get stuck. I apologize for the late reply.
