Hmm, that shouldn't happen buddy. You are gaming while the laptop is plugged in right ? Also check in Nvidia control panel the default gpu and dedicate to physx. Also check if there are any power saver settings on. Let me know if you need any more help 🙂

They have indeed improved the cooling over the previous Omen series. I have experienced occasional high temperature spikes but performance hasnt been affected so far to my knowledge. If you play in a moderately cool room you should be good to go ! 😁

Yes bro ! Ive shown graphic settings in all these games, you can pause and check that the resolution is 1920×1080 on all of them😊

Hi ! Yes i have undervolted it using the option in the Omen app. I didn't notice any performance decrease and the temperature is now quite better and heating has also gone down 🙂🙂

Hi Isaac ! You can find the Omen app in windows store. I think it works fully only for HP omen laptops.

Its a very good laptop when it comes to thermals and overall performance, i would only suggest you to buy this if you are on a budget and are able to get this for a low price. Yes! In some games, they did benefit a lot from FSR. (On average, you can expect a 10-15 fps jump)😇

The only difference is I have 8gb ram, I tried the nvidia control panel thing but my nba 2k20 runs on 20 fps or some shit I don't know what I did wrong

Nothing serious bro, if you sit in a room at room temperature, CPU averages 80 degrees while gaming and GPU at around 60-65 degrees. I would suggest using a good laptop cooler 🙂

It's weird how i get 50-60 frames in cyberpunk with basically the same hardware, I have the msi gf 63 i7 9750h 2019 version. Why do you think that could be? Better cooling perhaps?

I think you're right, since making this video i got my laptop cleaned up and invested in a decent laptop cooler as well and the framerate has jumped quite a bit. It might be it was thermal throttling earlier. Good observation mate 🙌😊

Hi ! First kindly check that you're gaming ONLY while the laptop is plugged in as then the gpu will be getting the max power supply, if not then open nvidia control panel - 1. Check in global settings that preferred gpu is *high performance nvidia processor* 2. In configure surround/Phyx, Nvida gpu is set as the gpu and dedicate it to physx Let me know if it works 😁

If you're using task manager to check your GPU usage that means you tab out that might be causing it to appear less, i may not be right. Try using another method of monitoring GPU usage which doesn't require you to tab out
