For those interested in going dual-channel, I got the Crucial CT2K8G4DFRA32A 16gb kit today and put it in my TG01-0429. It properly registered at 3200mhz. However, the "upgrade" to dual-channel resulted in only 3fps increase across the board in only one of my games. Two other games saw no appreciable difference. So, it would appear that my config in the TG01-0429 (Ryzen 5 3600 & GTX 1660 Super) doesn't really care about dual-channel anyway as far as gaming is concerned.

I've had the newer version TG02 (same case design and brackets, different front cover) for a couple of weeks and the only complaint is the thermals (reaching 90+ degrees while gaming for CPU and GPU). I ended up installing an upgraded CPU cooler, added three 92mm 1600rpm redux fans (1 exhaust, 2 intake). The two intake fans were installed using the black bracket on the side (had to recreate the black bracket on CAD software and then used the negative space to fill the peaks and valleys on both sides of the bracket to create an isolator gasket for the fan to only suck air from the vent holes/mitigate vibration and had to dremel a small portion of the SSD caddy to fit the fans. Now it runs like a dream but will need to rearrange the fans if I want to upgrade the GPU in the future.

@@thepopatlaal i ended up installing a fan on the intake to blow air in, and an expansion slot fan on the back to blow air in, I also set up a fan controller to run the power supply fan all the time blowing air out. So I take everything back apart in reverse, come to find out the CPU got stuck to the big shiruken so it lifted the CPU off of its set module. All I did was unlock and re-lock the CPU and boom turned on like a champ. It was the thermal paste that was so stuck to the cpu that when lifting it up it moved the whole cpu and module which abstructed the signals. This just in everyone.. replaced my 1650 super with an rx7600..barely fit, required a small tab of metal to be modified on the back of the case since it was hitting the gpu when slotting it down into the pcie slot, one small cut later and everything actually lines up. card draws about 181 watts peak with my overclock and undervolt setup, and the gpu fans have moderately decreased the inside case temp, just need a ryzen 7 3700x to go with this current motherboard and a new cooler for the cpu and I should be set, from 4 to 8gb of vram is stunning

Bro I couldn’t find one but there was a sale on their website it was a slightly different version the only thing that was different was the cpu and the ram. It had a Ryzen 5 4600g and a 2x4 8gb 3200mhz Ram and it was only going for 600$ the original price was 700$ but it was 100$ off so I ordered that and next day my Walmart had the 3500 one but a lot of people told me the one I bought it a bit better since my cpu is a bit faster

Hey there, the one listed in the video are memory modules that should work out of the box, the none JEDEC rated memory would require Ryzen Master settings in order to achieve its speed, the 3200mhz JEDEC one works right away, and there are no memory settings in the Bios

@@HardwareSense I tried a Corsair Vengeance 16gb 3200mhz kit (CMK16GX4M2B3200C16) on my TG01--0429 and it would only run at 2133mhz. I had heard about Ryzen Master but found it complicated and was afraid of bricking something. So, I returned the memory and orderd some basic spec Crucial ram (CT2K8G4DFRA32A) that is at 3200mhz default frequency and will try that when it arrives. My theory is that the HP motherboard (Erica, rev F.30) is not compatible with XMP. So, any of the "gamer" ram won't go to the higher speeds. All that said, a tutorial on how to use Ryzen Master to overcome these challenges would make a great video for relative noobs like me.
