@@HardwareSense do you know if the small 4 pin connector by the extra sata plugs on the motherboard is a led plug? I’m trying to add some xtra cooling like you did and am wondering if I can use that to control the RGB on fans? Also, from everything I can find there is no way to take control of the case fan so my splitter on the back fan didn’t work either. Is there any other way to control fans through the sata plug or is outside control like the one used really the only option?

For those interested in going dual-channel, I got the Crucial CT2K8G4DFRA32A 16gb kit today and put it in my TG01-0429. It properly registered at 3200mhz. However, the "upgrade" to dual-channel resulted in only 3fps increase across the board in only one of my games. Two other games saw no appreciable difference. So, it would appear that my config in the TG01-0429 (Ryzen 5 3600 & GTX 1660 Super) doesn't really care about dual-channel anyway as far as gaming is concerned.

I've had the newer version TG02 (same case design and brackets, different front cover) for a couple of weeks and the only complaint is the thermals (reaching 90+ degrees while gaming for CPU and GPU). I ended up installing an upgraded CPU cooler, added three 92mm 1600rpm redux fans (1 exhaust, 2 intake). The two intake fans were installed using the black bracket on the side (had to recreate the black bracket on CAD software and then used the negative space to fill the peaks and valleys on both sides of the bracket to create an isolator gasket for the fan to only suck air from the vent holes/mitigate vibration and had to dremel a small portion of the SSD caddy to fit the fans. Now it runs like a dream but will need to rearrange the fans if I want to upgrade the GPU in the future.

@@thepopatlaal i ended up installing a fan on the intake to blow air in, and an expansion slot fan on the back to blow air in, I also set up a fan controller to run the power supply fan all the time blowing air out. That keeps the case cold. I also upgraded the cpu cooler. I can remember which one but it does help. As far as I can tell the power supply fan is only supposed to come on when it gets too hot, but with such a weird power supply, I'd try to keep it as cool as possible.

@@HardwareSense thank you for getting back to me I found out what was the problem. So after taking the pc apart and putting it back together 4 times I realized. So when I put the thermal paste (Arctic MX-4) the first time It didn’t sit well on the Ryzen 5. So what ended up happening is it beeped 3 times and never powered onto the screen. So I take everything back apart in reverse, come to find out the CPU got stuck to the big shiruken so it lifted the CPU off of its set module. All I did was unlock and re-lock the CPU and boom turned on like a champ. It was the thermal paste that was so stuck to the cpu that when lifting it up it moved the whole cpu and module which abstructed the signals. I know it’s a long paragraph but hopefully if anyone had the same problem they can use these steps! Thank you so much these videos are so helpful.

So, I returned the memory and orderd some basic spec Crucial ram (CT2K8G4DFRA32A) that is at 3200mhz default frequency and will try that when it arrives. My theory is that the HP motherboard (Erica, rev F.30) is not compatible with XMP. So, any of the "gamer" ram won't go to the higher speeds.
