@@FN2166_ Im not annoyed by the fan noice. When your doing a lot of tasks you hear a blowing noice sometimes but its not that loud. For school/work and some youtube its ok. If your gaming or watching movies a lot i would go for a better screen laptop.

I can see this model is offered with a 1000 nits display panel option and 2GB discrete graphics making it close to an XPS 15 on paper... not even the XPS has that amount of nits, can it be true?

Yes and No. The 1000 nits model is with a SureView privacy feature. Recommend not getting this model unless you need this security option. The new 450 G9 has a 400 nits model which is a superior display for general office usage.

Hi, Love to review more Lenovo laptops as they are fantastic. Historically HP have a facility for us to loan out new devices from them, hence the bias towards HP on our channel. Trying to get hold of the T14 and X1 Carbon 8th Gen for review if possible. The P workstation range is definitely up there in the top two with the ZBooks. 👍

Thanks. The display panel is average and therefore not suitable for Adobe PS and PP, however you can still edit 4K60 videos with it. Encoding is slow as well.

Thanks. 455 G7 and ThinkPad E15 are very similar. If you want performance, go for these over the 450 G7 Intel CPU. Battery life is slightly better with the Intel CPU's over the AMD ones.

Thanks. Unfortunately, that is the major weakness of the PB 450 G7's, the display panel brightness is poor across the range. Although have noticed that newer laptops now have better display options. i.e. 300/400/500 nits

Thank you for this great review. According to my budget, I'm now in doubt of choosing between the HP Probook 450 G7 intel core i7-10510U and the Dell latitude 3400 core i7-8565U Middle East versions. Usage: Autocad - Naviswork - Electrical Automation Programs with simulations - Microsoft office regular work in addition to using a VPN program as I might use it in restricted areas. Which one is the best option ? And if there's another one within this budget which one you recommend ? Many thanks in advance.

Autocad work would require a laptop with a dedicated GPU unless you are just viewing the drawings. Also, you may want to consider an Intel H processor than a battery efficient Intel U processor for more processing power required. Look at the HP ZBook range. 👍

@@Dovecomputers Hi, just for information, AutoCad doesn't need something to powerful, I currently use a core i3 6006u with 8 GB ram and an HDD (it's trash compared to this laptop) and I can comfortably work with small and medium tasks, even 3D drawings are alright. As you said an HP ZBook is the standard but it will depend on the budget and the specific work. PS awesome video!

Difficult choice as they are similar in specs. I would argue the AMD model (E15 Gen 2 AMD) would give you better performance and the Thinkpad has a very good keyboard.

If you didn't need it for CAD work, the ProBook 450 G7 with MX250/MX350 would tick all the boxes. Consider the HP ZBook range for Solidworks/Catia tasks...for example the HP ZBook Firefly *Review out by end of this week, or even the HP Envy 15-ep range with dedicated GTX 1660 Ti or RTX 2060 GPU's. 👍

Хубавото са възможностите за ъпгрейд на паметта (много от останалите производители запояват единия слот с RAM), място за хард диск и корпус от пластмаса и алуминий. А сега AMD отнася Intel - и представеният тук процесор е 4-ядрен (с осем нишки), тоест 4700U има двойно повече физически ядра (тоест запас от производителност за следващите години). Intel-ът има едно предимство: по-висока честота и лек превес в single core performance. Но моделът определено не е геймърски (а и вграденото видео на AMD e поне 2 пъти по-бързо от Интелското). Сега погледнах и цените на двата модела - близки са, даже с АМД получаваш малко повече.
