The easy way to get Windows 10 up and running on your Upgraded HP Stream. Duet with rEFInd on easy mode. After I made all my mistakes, you now do not have to. You will need 2 USB Thumb Drives at least 8 GB in size, 1 preloaded with Windows 10 install, the other with Duet with rEFInd. Download the 2020 version not the 2015 version. winraid.level1...

Thank you for the video. Do I need to update bios to a specific version prior to doing the hardware install? I saw one video on an older steam that it won't recognize the adapter for the ssd if bios is not correct.

I ran all updates from HP Support before I did the hardware install, but I don't think it's required. As it's the drivers from Duet with rEFInd that are most needed. Thank you. I did the same before starting (had to update bios from usb as drive too small). Install went perfectly as you instructed. Thank you so much. Only snag I hit was having to turn off HP bios security in Bios menu as it wouldn't boot DUET with it on. Now putting the computer back to work!

Im trying this. At first it worked perfectly but it said on my hp stream that it wasnt authenticated. So i formated the usb and tried everything again and now it says duet and refind is corupt and it wont let me put them on the usb. I think its a lost cause for me. I keep getting stuck.

Search how to "Restore USB Thumb Drive". If ever I have an issue I always started fresh. I am sure you will get it!!

@@justinputman8939 Not that I know, but if Duet is corrupt and it is giving you issue start with a freshly restored usb.
