Having a Thinkpad workstation, I've always been intrigued by HP comparable offerings. Custom ZBook are super expensive here, especially compared to P Thinkpad. Cannot wait for the detailed review !

Yes I am as well Michael, I have lost touch with HP for number of years so I am very excited to see how comparable HP is to Lenovo and Dell.

Thanks there a bit to learn for the HP products as it's been some time I touch one and there is fair bit of security enhancements. Hopefully we will see more HP products for review in the future for my channel. I will see what I can do for the Zbook Studio.

Hi John, I actally had them on the way before this but looks like Lenovo has delay of shipment =(. I got a few thinkpads on the way but these HPs I'm pretty impressed they have nice features that even Lenovo doesn't have.

Hi great video, thank you. What about in deph review? I am actuly thinking of buying this or should I wait for G7 Fury? what do you think?
@BsianTech4 жыл бұрын
Hi AceInAqaurium, the review be up by the end of this week. I personally like this laptop. I haven't seen the G7 yet and if the pricing of the G7 is very similar to the G6 I think just having the upgrade from 9th Gen Intel to 10th Gen Intel will be worth it just from my testing from other laptops that have gone from 9th to 10th Gen.

@@BsianTech Problem is that I need to buy it till the end of November and HP will not tell me when they realse the G7s Fury. I think Studio and Create versions are not as good as Fury will be. Also I am thinking about G6 with i9 and RTX3000, what is your exprience with the thermals?
@BsianTech4 жыл бұрын
@@amazingworldofdiscus5941 unfortunetely I won't have anymore news for you then what you have regarding about the G7s Fury. Having played with a number of OEM mobile workstation in the 15" class, I have liked the Dell 7550 for it's thermals, the Zbook 15 G6 was a little struggling which you will see in the review video. I'm waiting to get my hands on the new P15 from Lenovo as that would be really interesting and I would like that normally too. I really do like the keyboard/trackpad, features and easy toolless access to the internals and the speakers for sure of the HP over the Dell 7550. I can't say much for lenovo yet but from the P53 I liked that very much too for the thinkpad keyboard. Sorry I haven't made the job any easier on which to decide on. As of right now the Touch, feel and features of the mobile workstation the HP wins, for performance, thermals and fan noise the Dell 7550 wins.

@@BsianTech I think I will go with Dell, I see i9 is a bit better then I7 8 cores, but I get sweet deal on Dell with bigger M.2 drive, hope will not regret that :D

The touchpad is placed more on the left which may be a slight challenge for right hand touch users
@BsianTech4 жыл бұрын
Hi Howard Tan, the touchpad isn't too far left comparing to the Dell Precision 7550 and the Lenovo ThinkPad P53 which are the Zbook 15 competitors. They are actually all the same position (I have put them side by side to check) this is due to the extra number pad on the keyboard on these laptops. You will find your left palm close to your wrist should rest fully on the palm rest without going over the edge without issues, the size of these laptops sometimes doesn't show on camera.

My concerns with HP are all about dim displays, otherways they produce good, reliable laptops. And how about heating management ?!
@BsianTech4 жыл бұрын
Hi victor marian, I will find out when I do the screen test and check the thermals in my in-depth review victor.
