Super helpful - only thing that didn't match up was a couple of pieces that connect between the heatsink and the left/right fan. Appears they're help on using thermal tape or something similar. Just had to peel that back to get the fans out. Thanks for posting this!

My sim card is stuck in the sim card slot and it doesn't work. A service center technician wrote me that repair during the warranty period is not possible because there is a broken contact inside the slot. Is there a way to replace just the sim card slot? The new motherboard costs the same as a new laptop...

It says it can hold 3 M.2 ssds, upgrading 2 of them is pretty straight forward. I cannot see where the third one is located in this video. Does the main board need to be removed to gain access to the third drive?

Does it work in slots 1 and 2? Maybe it doesn't like 3200MHz memory (the board / CPU doesn't support 3200 anyway).

@@HPSupport Thank you for your prompt reply. I must admit, I was surprised to receive a response from HP regarding my comment. I own an HP ZBook G6 with an i9-9880h processor and RTX 3000 GPU, and I've been experiencing severe temperature issues with the laptop. Under a load of less than 10 seconds, the CPU temperatures reached 100 degrees Celsius on the CPU die, and the laptop was running very hot. I disassembled the back cover, fans, and heatsink following this video tutorial and replaced the thermal paste and GPU memory thermal pads. I used Noctua NT-H2 for both the CPU and GPU dies, and Thermal Grizzly minus pad 8, 1 mm thickness pads for the thermal pads. The temperatures seem somewhat improved now, but I've noticed that the fans are still slow to react to load, and the temperatures spike to 90 degrees and drop when the fans kick in. Another issue I've noticed is that after updating to the latest BIOS firmware (version 01.27.00 REV A), the laptop scored 12% lower in CPU performance, tested using the latest Performance Test software from PassMark. All other conditions were identical. Is there any way to revert to the previous performance score? Lastly, I'm wondering if there's a method to unlock the Intel XTU software for undervolting the CPU to improve thermal stability? Thank you for your assistance.

I tried other youtube videos also and still my windows in a way is not able to identify that my laptop has an inbuilt fingerprint scanner.
