HPE Service Pack for ProLiant (SPP) update for ML350 Gen9

The Offline Automatic update for HPE Service Pack for ProLiant is the best option if scheduling downtime is not an issue. For Gen9 and Gen10 use the latest SPP. For Gen8 and G7 use their specific bundles.

As always with HPE they are constantly chiselling money out of your organisation. You have to pay for a service account, you have to pay for an iLO licence. It is possible to download some important updates but it makes the maintenance of their servers a pain! I would advise you seriously consider other server manufacturers who adopt standard serving and maintenance procedures for their equipment. It will save you a fortune in the long run.

It's true, I hate HPE support - someone abnormal create it - I only buy Dell - unfortunately sometimes HPE is purchased in companies

Thanks for this. I was trying to use a USB thumb drive and having no luck because the interface kept erroring out when trying to flash. I had forgotten the ilo remote console could do the same thing with an ISO. This reminded me.

Buy other server vendors, they don't charge extra to mount a ISO to a remote console.
