Cool buggy and it performs awesome with that newer engine, watched my share of Baja 5B videos both Gas powered and a few of the electric (Flux) model back when they used to have them as RTR's.

Yeah it does seem to be performing well, til the end that is lol 😂 I think it’s running too lean though. It seems to be revving like crazy…gotta mess with that

@@RCKnockout It's okay you'll get it fixed and back out for another rip again soon can't wait to see it when the next video comes out. I thought of getting a Baja 5B someday either a gas model or an electric (Flux) model running 8s LIPO. Still plan on getting the 5ive-T next year which will be my first gas powered and first true 1\5 scale rc.

I'm not a nitro fan, but I love these Baja 5B's. I'd love to see you do a brushless conversion.

These are gas mixed with oil..they’re not Nitro fuel…I’ve seen a lot of brushless ones but I’d prefer to keep this one gas powered

I run a little bit (15%?) or so of negative exponential on steering on all my rc's. Driving your street car would be difficult if it did'nt have that. World of difference, smooths out the straight line driving and still allows full lock turn.

How can you tell if it's running lean just getting into the hobby it looks like it's running good to me maybe my Fifth Scale running lean trying to find out

I didn’t know that…I know there are some generic brands that make knobby tires with a nearly identical tread pattern…those might be worth a try
