HPI Bullet MT 3.0 unboxing

lets do a quick unbox of my new Hpi Bullet MT 3.0.

I almost bought this, but no electric start, no reverse, no two speed and no anodized cylinder head. I had a Savage 21 that was a great little truck, but could no longer find the transmission for that truck. I Chose a Traxxis T Max Classic which comes standard with all of this!

At the time this was only $309 which was a good deal. This is a good little truck but really can not be compared to the tmax. I agree it should have a two speed but 90% of the nitro guys do forward only conversions on traxxas nitros, simply put it really is not necessary on a nitro. As for the anodized head I see that as strictly cosmetic. I appreciate you watching and sharing your thoughts and feedback. I hope I gained your support in the future!

greta unboxing bro!! We really lucked out and ordered at the old cheap price right. Nothing like 2 brand new HPIs. The new Trophy truggy price is crazy, did you see it. The bullet I think even at the new price is still competitive though. Ofocurse its still alot, but you know. You can't even get a 4WD traxxas for that kind of money.

That is a nice SOLID truck, it's almost bullet proof. The main issue will be the front dog bones popping out which can be remedied installing front CVA shafts. Unfortunately, I did get a notice when the truck came in stock but due to how busy I was at work, I couldn't order it and then of course, it went out of stock. There is NO WAY I'm buying one now as the price went up to $445 and even woth the discount code, it's over $100 more. I should have also purchased one when Amain put these on clearance for $179 when they gave up distribution rights to HPI back in the winter of 2019. Enjoy it!

@@kgm5512 I honestly wouldn't mind too much if the kit was updated with faster servos, a nicer pipe and A TWO SPEED! It is what it is, guys like you and Hybrid lucked out so enjoy it. I'll end up using my funds buying an extra Kyosho USA1 nitro re-release, one to collect and one to unbox. That USA-1 is going to be an instant classic guaranteed and should be hitting shelves this month! I'm sure you're picking one up too😀

@@Clickbaiters i really like the look of the USA 1 but for the $700+ price I cannot justify that I would rather put that into a 1/5 scale gas! But that being said my friend I will not rule out the future used market on them!

@@kgm5512 No, no, the $700 is retail. The nitro will be $499 and the brushless will be $529 I believe. Still, it is a price hike, the old Mad Force Krusier nitro was $350 BEFORE discounts (Hobbico/Tower Hobbies) with free shipping and ZERO tax. Man, times have changed for us nitro heads for the absolute worse. It's incredibly unfortunate that this newer generation will miss out on such a gratifying experience. Anyhow, with each platform update like the Krusier 2.0, FOXX, FOXX 2.O ,Crusher and now USA-1, the price has gone up. Unfortunately, I have no choice, I must own the USA-1 especially since Kyosho is known for discontinuing kits once stocks run out leaving you almost no chance to run out and pick up a discontinued kit. I'm getting mine early, if it has a 2yr run then great but I'm not waiting.

I’m not too familiar with the nrb -5 that is a buggy? This is buggy that was made into a monster truck. Super fun to drive. I recommend this to everyone. Thanks for watching!

I've been thinking about that too, like a swap from a other car, but it seems not possible. I think there are not so much Tuning parts for the bullet, but it is still a great rc car.

The truggy is large and has a big block in it and the handling is completely different. Thanks for watching I hope this helps.

@@tristantalbot4408 they are both built pretty well. They have aluminum parts where they need to be. You really cannot compare the to to each other though because they are completely different. The only complaint I had about the trophy truggy were the shocks. Other than that it is a great truck
