We have a second speed run with our HPI Jumpshot MT Flux and see if we can improve on our previous 43mph we managed with the box stock truck.

Crazy speed guys, probably got 60mph in it if you can pin the throttle longer without flipping. I keep thinking about getting the Jumpshot ST Flux with the longer wheelbase & lower stance, might be a bit more stable on speed runs I'm thinking.

Yeah the ST would have a slight advantage! We weren't expecting the speed initially it was meant to bash but it clearly has a calling for max mph!

What’s the name on that speed checker orange thingy?

It really is simple. So the lesson is to remove the body for low-mid speed speed runs?

In this instance yes! With a regular chassis (with a floor) the parachuting effect is far less, and with a properly fitted aerodynamic body the body can even be a huge bonus. But in this particular setup it just created a ton of drag and lift! This is why speed run cars often have the rear end cut away also.

bought a ST for that reason alone, longer chassis and stability. with the MT put some weight up front - physics 101
