Glad it all worked out good with the Arrma gears, Integy steel gears can get expensive with the shipping from the US.

Hey rich , I think so too! Much much better with this mod I'm able to set the gear mesh like I would with my Arrma trucks now . I might refine my thinking with it at some point but for now this works amazing. Now time for a bash video with the jumpshot hey 😎

Ooh an evening on the Bishops Finger, that'll bring tears to your eyes 🤣 Genius mod you did there. Always great when you can sort out a problem like this and especially if it's cheap. There is a little mod you can do to the HPI Firestorm so that it uses a Traxxas spur gear. Ironic really as Traxxas is the reason you can't get Firestorm spares now! Top work mate 👍👍

Ironic that mind that your able to fit traxxas parts to a last of a breed HPI , errrrmmm thanks traxxas I think lol 🤣. By the way the bishops finger slide down smoothly "ohhhhh errrr misus 😂. But yes who does not love a free fix and what I would think is a genuine upgrade for a cheap basher . Love how this is coming together and finding things like this . Hope that your well there buddy . Question I'm getting fondues of the jumpshot of the gear but did u put in the jumpshot a aroma super gear 55t 0.8 mod or the arrowmax pinion gear 64p 55t - super light? If I put the same gear as yours will it work and would it stay on for a year's?

Hi well to be honest its a great upgrade for the jumpshot range . Now its not a staight forward answer but the long and short of it it should last for a long time for sure . Hope this helps Chris .

Hi Chris, the video states the conversion needs an arrma outer wheel bearing. However, the 3s outer wheel bearing doesn't fit. Can you find exactly what size bearing you used? Thank you. Looks to be a 5x12x?

Hey there , thanks for watching , the stock is a smaller pitched 48dp spur and has a nasty habit of skipping a tooth and stripping , with this mod it’s 32dp so much better mesh and will work much better and provide a better mesh and more comfortable alignment on the gears .
