Hi Ive seen a few of your videos on Rush evos and I've been looking at getting one after Christmas, is it still a decent car to get? I know nitros can be pains and ive had one before that was just that but I miss having an engine and making a racket lol. Seen a few floating around on ebay

They are indeed, they’re vintage now though so parts can be hard to find.

I just started into nitro and I got a hpi savage xl 5.9 with the K5.9 engine (I got it on factory settings) I tried to start my engine up but it wouldn’t but sometimes It runs but dies after a few seconds. To keep my car running I hold the carburetor open by fingers and runs then when i let go for it to go back to idle it dies out (my servos aint working right now thats why i use my fingers

Also your clutch spring could be broken when it like bogged.

Could be, I’m fairly sure it’s due to being too rich though.

@@HaggardRC yeah might be just too rich. I had the spring broken problem on my traxxas t maxx second version. It acted like yours, engine revving but car not moving but then all of a sudden the clutch shoes got stuck due to the broken clutch spring in the spur gear. And when it got stuck it was unstoppable. You had to stop it and kill the engine in order to get it to stop moving. 😂 It felt like a real car because you let go off the trothle and it continued to move forward. And that's why a think it's just too rich like you said.
