Hey you’re welcome brother that is why I do this stuff! I want to help all the fellas in the hobby see that anybody can wrench and I want them to have fun doing it not fight scews and strip heads and have headaches. That takes the fun out of wrenching! And its 80 percent of our hobby if you wanna go out and not break in 5 minutes lol.

You are the Wizard Brotherman! 👍👍👍👍 What do you do with stripped exhaust manifold screw holes? I’ve had them in the past when I was running RC boats and I always had a tough time fixing them correctly . I’m worried about my Baja because it tends to be the exhaust screws I have to pay the most attention to. Thanks Bro and GB… love your tech tips👍👍

Thank you my brother!! I really appreciate that and you!! As for the exhaust Bolts you can do two things helicoil the holes or what I do is simply drill and tap to the next size bolt. You want to make sure you bolts go in and seat straight. Sometimes the cap heads need more clearance and you can out them in a drill and sand the heads to a smaller circumference. You may also need to clean welds up very carefully as to not bust through the pipe so the bolts fit flat on the exhaust pipe flange. Just some things to consider brother. Dont use loctite on those either, always glob permatex ultra black on the bolt threads and run them deep. They wont come loose after the first few minutes of running and you make sure the bolts are snug with the engine warm. Hope that helps you out brother that is what has always worked for me.

Love your awesome Informative videos and clean machines keep it up brother! Question: for some one wanting to get into the 5t world. Would you recommend starting with something like a rovan LT450 4WD or a straight up losi 5t 2.0?
@eastsiderc

Well there is nothing wrong with the Rovan ……but that losi man is sooooooooooo nice! You would absolutely love it. And all the upgrades I did to mine ……not a single one is needed 🤣 its an out of the box ripper! But I would still go over it , i had some loose bolts n screws, no biggie . It rolls so beautifully! Handles sooooooo nice! I highly recommend.
Beautiful gymnastics 😍☺️
