Hey bud quick tip!... Take a dremel to the steering stops on the inside of steering knuckle ( pointy part on back side ) and you will increase you steering angle ( max throw ) ... I also have sprint 2 and have this aluminum kit , been good just because drift car don't get crashed that much lol..thx for vid bud !

I have 2 sprint 2 fluxes...1 set up for speed the other for drift. Now does this kit take away that dreadful slack in the steering? I love my rides but and that's my only complaint about them.

Where do u install the washers for the wheel knuckles? Is it at the bottom of the ball bearings or on TOP of your ball bearings just before your cvd drive shaft? Or if you have ball bearings ,you do not need to install the washers that come with this upgrade kit?

they are both the same other than power plant and tires so if your looking to drift save your money and just get the sprint drift. That way you can just hit the ground running no tires to replace

I'm in the middle of changing my hop up with this kit, big pain In the ass can't believe you zoomed through it. Those ball ends are having a tough time going in, what tool were you using? The instructions are so bad hopefully I didn't put anything in backwards thus far.

Looks like they dont have those packages anymore. The individual part will need to be purchased. It may be worth you email support and asking them if they are able to bundle everything for the same price. Hope that helps

This looks cool/fun and all, but tbh I don't think I can trust myself to do my own installations so I think I'd rather just bring it to a hobbyshop and have an experienced mechanic do it for me. I worked on Xmods as a kid and did a few hop-ups on it, but Xmods are designed for kids to be able to work on them.

this is nothing crazy to do. I'm sure you would be able to do it. Go slow and take loads of pics as you dis-assemble. Just reverse that process and its done like dinner. Don't let yourself be defeated before you try. Work over a mat or container as to not loose anything and if all else fails bring it in to the hobby shop in parts if need be. They can't possibly charge you more as you have done half the work by dis-assembling. LOL. I would say try before bring it in to the shop.

shawnroy81 Alright thanks! If I decide to go with the Sprint 2 chassis then I'll go and try to do upgrades myself. I also feel like if I can eventually learn all the in's and out's of an rc car then I'll become self-reliant on repairs, maintenance, and mods which will not only be cheaper, but also more convenient because all I'll need is myself and some time to work on it. I just acquired a sprint 2 Flux and I'm having trouble deciding what I want this Sh assistance to be used for. What would you say is the chassis strong point? Would it be competitive for racing? If so what class? I know a lot sprint 2 owners use it for drifts. However I will be purchasing the Sakura D3 and D4 as my drift chassis. Any help is appreciated :)

+SiTheBugski its a great kit to blast around. I don't think it would be competitive to race with. Its alright as drifter but it would still be entry level.

What would you recommend as a good TC chassis? I may keep it as a general basher / drifter then. I saw a pretty cool mod for the S2 where you can mount the motor on the front. Might try that for it at some point. Sorry for all the questions. Just recently got into the hobby :)

Tamiya has some highend TA05 (etc) racing chassis aswell as Team associated. Those would be the two companies to look at.

this would have been easier if you had removed all your electronics. also, you would benefit greatly from taking a compressor and blower nozzle to your car to clean it up and get ride of all that dirt.
