What a nice truck. Has all the stuff a good designed rtr could have to be realistic in parts placement, scale looks, geometry, decent quality etc. You've sold me on this one if the price is right Steve. :-)

The purpose of a panhard, not panhead, bar is to stop the axle from moving side to side. Used on cheaper 3 link suspension systems. 4 link systems like on the rear are superior. Not quite scale either with solid axle front suspension unlike the IFS in the real truck. Also FJ Cruisers are unibody not body on frame designs. Sorry to be that guy. It does appear to be quite a nice truck though

+Jonathon Chapman can't go wrong with either one mate. I would personally choose the Traxxas as it has more features out of the box and the portal drives are the best

Hi Steve, awesome looking rig, the attention to detail is fantastic, I really like the centre line drive shafts and the drive train in general. I'm not sure about the new FJ Cruiser body style, I have even gone off the original FJ Cruiser. I know that is sacrilege, but I can't help it. lol I'm even starting to go off the land rover body too. 😇. like I said, it's a great rig, but........ Do you think it's a wee bit expensive for what it is. I'm just not that invested in it. Great video as usual Steve. Looking forward to seeing it used in anger on the trails. 🙂 👍👍👍
