I believe that triangular placard on the cab roof is an indicator that the truck was pulling a trailer. At least that's how it was on WWII German trucks. If folds flat against the roof when there's no trailer. P.S. I really liked the oompah music at the end. Nice fit with the truck!

That's how I have it too. I built the Bussing 8000 S13 from Revell. Loved that built.

The tooling on the newer, modern kits, as well as the next dimension in detail, is a direct result of the advancement in computer aided drafting. This is really noticeable on the majority of the ICM kits and on this one too ! I hope that many new products are developed over the next few years.

Wow, that thing really is a Titan even in scale. I love the way the nose sticks way out past the steer wheels (I get that they kinda had to engineer it that way because of the engine). Interwar vehicles look a little odd to some modern eyes but not to mine. It kinda makes me think of a fire engine. Nice that the chassis didn't give you grief- multipart ladder frames used to and still make me a little nervous. But as usual another effortless-looking build, Chris.

29:38. Putting primer on that truck bed is literally a balancing act
@ricecooker86503 жыл бұрын
Quick question, when you use black primer can you substitute it for a rust oleum flat black paint or do you need to use black primer?
@hpiguy3 жыл бұрын
I think flat black will work, BUT, test first to make sure it can handle being coated over with other paints.

Another easy trick I use to temporary glue parts in for alignment of other parts, use Window glue. It's like a tacky white glue, dries clear and is less thick than Mod Podge. The Hobby Lobby I use hasn't had Mod Podge since I moved here in 2011. I use either Testors Window Glue or Canopy Glue, which I believe is from Woodland Scenics, as the very few model railroad items are in same aisle as model kits and supplies.
@joelrooks3893 жыл бұрын
I get Mod Podge at Walmart if you’re interested in using it.
