Love Your videos! Very impressive to see you build one amazing model after the other. You inspired me to build an *"Italeri VW 1303 convertible"* kit and it came out better then expected for my 1st project (since my childhood). Thank You so much for the tips and the Floor-Polish trick. Greetings from Germany 🇩🇪

Love these builds, Chris! I can’t mask worth a darn when it comes to multiple colors on a model. When I saw the bit when you said about the engine color, I thought most NASCAR engines in the “modern era” were a bare metal color. Like aluminum if I’m not mistaken.

My only complaint about these former Monogram kits is the awful rear differential and those headers but it's nice that Salvinos keeps these kits alive for us model builders ! They are doing a great job with these Nascar models new and old that we wouldn't otherwise have !

Nice, I built this exact car over 20 years ago. I have kept mine in an individual case and it still looks good. Most people that see it think it is a diecast. Lol. Oh and my kit was by AMT and I had to paint the body the blue and red, no decals there to make life easier. Lol.

When I was a kid I was given a Jeff Gordon model kit for Christmas but never put it together, I think the body and tires and decals were missing but even if it had all that I don't think I would've had the patience to paint and glue it all. Still not sure if I would now, think I'd prefer clicking pieces together, but still this looks cool and I might try

I see you using the rustoleum sprays. Couple of questions? are these house paints etc. or are they an actual model paint (intended for scale models?) like a rebranded testors model masters etc. and is it a good reliable spray can or is it heavy sediment (requiring excessive shaking/swirling of the can) resulting in excessively thick coats if not shaken properly or high aerosol content where the comes out matte and rough and off colour? Also is there brush on colour matched bottles. I have a 78 corvette I built for my wife with Model Masters dark blue (similar to chevy daytona blue) that I cant find touch up (or even a new spray can) to cover the sprue points.
