I bought this kit this summer and it looks very cool. I am building it with my sister, we are enjoying this kit a lot. We painted his cloak red instead of black to give him a 60s horror movie look. Looks kind of like a devil worshiper. The way you painted your is cool too.

I really love this one. Your artistic flair on the tree with the moss and the grass just sets everything off. The attention to detail you put on this model just shows how much an artist you really are. I love your dry brush technique.

One of your best. The chalk and the cheap acrylic work wonders and the Woodland Scenics left overs give it the final best touch. (Always keep that left over crap because there'll be a day and you'll be happy you kept it.) You have a great eye.

I built this kit a few years ago and had a lot of fun with it. I painted the tombstones using Rustoleum "stone" paint, and it made the it look really cool. I made the kit minus the inscriptions on the tombstones because who knows when the Grim Reaper will come to call. LOL.

Black leather like a biker??!!? Lol. Didn't know death could be so flashy and vain. Lol. Came out nice for just using the plastic kit it as- is. I'm curious if you had abandoned the tree for a scratchbuild and more interesting scratchbuild base with hand made gravestones? Or even a tomb/mausoleum or even stone angel on top of a crypt? Autumn "dead" Tree should have been at least twice as tall.

You said that you sprayed clear over your pastel highlights on the reaper....What type of clear do you use because whenever I clear over pastels they disappear???? It looks fantastic by the way !!!
@hpiguy6 жыл бұрын
They will mostly disappear once the wet clear hits, which is why you see me apply them so heavy to start with. When done it gives a nice hint of shading. I use Treehouse Studio Matte Clear from hobby lobby personally.
