HPS HEATER HOSE INSTALL BMW E46

In this video, we'll guide you through the installation of the HPS Performance Silicone Heater Hose Kit for the E46 BMW 3 Series.
The vehicle we are installing the items on is a 2002 BMW 325i. Some items may appear different on 328 and 330 models.
Tools required:
-Small flat head screwdriver
-Large flat head screwdriver
-T30 torx bit
-10mm socket
-6mm socket
-ratchet
-dremel with cut off wheel attachment
-marker or paint pen
-funnel
-coolant receptacle
-jack + jack stands OR drive up ramps OR lift

Yeah I'm looking at removing the manifold as well as can't budge the 2 bulkhead tubes. Got a blockage somewhere

Nice video! But, I suggest to change the o-rings inside the fittings beacuse the o-rings are the actual weak sport and get flat over the time. When you do install them again, the chances are high to get a leak because of the flat o-ring.

You have to pull off the intake manifold. Its doable but not the easiest thing in the world.

I ordered the hose kit but it keeps saying it’s an m3 kit. I’m not sure what to do with the two small hoses. I believe that the long hoses will fit perfectly but where the hell do the small ones go to?

The straight hose is included in the kit, it is not sold separately.

That would require removing the intake manifold assembly. Not an easy task regarding time. I suggest you look at a video regarding CCV Replacement or Starter Removal and installation. That should show how the heater tube is attached to the block.

why doesn't the kit come with the end adapter that connects to the 'T' connector that connects to engine bay and radiatior? where can i find that end adapter alone?

I can’t get the fitting off that’s connect at the bottom of the coolant reservoir :/ I released the fitting clip and still can’t pop it off. HELP

Hi, As you can expect, the seal hasn't moved in 20 years so it just needs some persuasion. Use a flat head screwdriver or pry bar to pry between the fitting and the expansion tank outlet neck. Very carefully and slow apply pressure on the top and the bottom using this method. Apply light pressure a little at a time. Don't try to get it off in one shot... it's not gonna happen and you're gonna break something if you do.
