Hello! I recently bought a 12 GB RAM 14t-dv000 and I want to upgrade the ram to 16 GB. the rubber feet looked almost too easy to remove! was that after a heat gun was used, or the adhesive is a bit weak here? does removing the feet allow them to be re-used, as according to the part picker, the replacement feet cannot be ordered.

@@HPSupport you can't. on the site it shows it as non-purchasable (as I said in my comment). spare part = M16607-001. But you didn't answer the 2nd part of my question: "does removing the feet allow them to be re-used" and also was a heat gun used here?

@@DazmanL There is no problem just peeling back slightly the rubber strips to uncover the screws...that's what I did upgrading the RAM in mine...no heat gun necessary....if you want to remove the whole strip, you could just apply your own cut strip of double sided tape underneath the existing one.

I purchased this laptop(dv0054TU) 12 days back, my unit have 7-8 dead pixels on display. Not expected this kind of product from HP.
