Thank you!!!!!!! After cleaning the print heads, I was able to print a Printer Status Report. Evidently, I have printed a total of 20,655 pages on my HP Smart Tank 7602. Perhaps 20,000 is the limit... or perhaps the print heads dried up during the ten days of non-use due to Hurricane Helene. Cleaning the print heads seems to be a solution. We will see how long it lasts.

I followed the steps here and the link you provided in the reply of the comments. Did the printhead cleaning, but my cyan still does not print in the diagnostics. Please help.

I keep getting a printhead error after recently shipping my printer across the country. I have the smart tank 720. My printer sometimes prints and sometimes it just prints a blank paper and shoes me the error code. It then proceeds not to work until it randomly does. During the shipping some of the ink leaked and i try cleaning it but it still isnt working

We are having some problems with our newly bought Hp Smart Tank 750 printer, we will be delighted if we can get some advice on how to fix the issue. When we try to use the Hp Smart app to connect to our printer, the printer registers as "Printer not found." we thought that our printer was not in wifi setup mode, but we have performed a factory reset as well as the procedure on the Hp support website to enter wifi setup mode, but still our printer is not connecting to wifi, if you advice us on some possible fixes for such a problem we would be delight, we are also really pleased with the quality of the printer and it's low ink usage. I had similar problem. The easiest way was, to connect printer via USB and then to switch to wifi in the driver.

I have the HPSmart Tank 7300 printer. I have followed the instructions to clean the printheads. I have done this 3 times and it is almost getting worse rather than better. I still have horizontal lines when printing in color. What else can I try in order to fix this issue. Thank you.

@@HPSupport Thank you. I had done everything except replace the print heads. I've only had the printer for 2 years - 14,000 pages. Is it common for the print heads to need replacing? I just don't want to spend another $80 and then my printer still doesn't work.

You have to buy the spare printer head. It took about 30 USD. I have had similar problem. After the changing the head, everything was OK (except my pocket, because I was missed 30 USD, of course).

I have a HP Smart 7001 printer. It is exactly a year old. The blue stop printing. HP refuses to help me. I don't know what to do, or how to fix it. This so sad that they make a product like this and don't back it up. This is for Office use. Now i dead in the water and have to buy a new printer.

+T KJOKangaroo In the Print & Scan or Printers & Scanners window, select your printer, and then click Options & Supplies. Click Utility, and then click Open Printer Utility. HP Utility opens. Click Clean Printheads , and then click Clean.
