Hi, I have Check Paper issue. I remove the paper sensor according to "Disassembling HP Photosmart c3180 Feed Roller Assembly Removal" instruction but still the orange light flashing. What could be the possible issue?

Seems to have worked for me cleaning the rollers. A sign it might be the black plastic roller in the video(even though all my rollers are black unlike in the video) is my top piece of paper had a black mark on it were that roller was trying to grap it(a couple inches from the bottom of the paper).

I can see inside the printer when trying to print with paper in that the bottom two rollers dont spin but I see gears on one so I know it must spin where is the paper sensor? Is it a lever or a diode?

I tried everything in this video but no success. At first it was taking the paper if I push the top paper for some time, however now it doesn't take whatever I do. I removed the rear access door, and observed the rollers and found out that the rollers do not move when the printer tries to take paper.

Even though you didn't indicate that you are getting a paper jam message, I suggest that you follow the steps in the "Clearing a Paper Jam for HP Photosmart C3100 and PSC 1510 All-in-One Printer Series" document ( ow.ly/bNuE301fLZ7 ). Ho da porvi un quesito.Ho una stampante Hp all in one serie c 3100. Premessa.La cartuccia del nero è piena, quella a colori è vuota.Impostazioni di stampa su carta fotografica stampa in scala di grigi.Premo start la stampante si aziona, fa rumore come se stesse stampando ma alla fine mi esce il foglio bianco.Se invece stampo qualsiasi altra cosa (no impostazione di stampa fotografica) la stampante funziona regolarmente.In pratica se voglio stampare una semplice linea nera con impostazione di stampa fotografica, su effettiva carta fotografica non stampa nulla, ma se invece la stessa linea la stampo su carta normale ma senza l'impostazione di qualità fotografica funziona perfettamente.PRECHé????????

I've tried all of this. it scans well, copies well, BUT when I want to print something in the computer, it keeps saying "OUT OF PAPER". The test page prints out fine. Help!

risquecat I would advise you power cycle the printer and if you still get the error contact HP Technical Support as the printer may need to be reset.

Hi Jaira C., If you search for C01580846 on HP’s home page or using Google search. The title of the document is “Aligning Ink Cartridges”. It will walk you through aligning the cartridges using your computer. It has instructions for Windows and Mac operating systems.

Hello Bruno, Please search for C01447224 on HP's home page or using Google search. It is the trouble shooting document for a carriage jam. Many times a carriage jam will present itself as a paper jam. For reference, you can also search for C00652863 which is the trouble shooting document for a paper jam.
