HQ Sound | Invidia Q300 Catback Exhaust | Civic Si Fa5 (Use Headphones for Best Representation)

I got an Invidia Q300 Catback exhaust system for my 2007 Civic Si Fa5! Here are some sound clips of the exhaust.
(The cold start may seem loud because the camera was only a few feet away from the exhaust. A more realistic volume depiction is in the second clip)
This system brings a deeper and more pronounced tone to the car without being much louder than the stock exhaust. Drone is noticeable between 3000-4000 RPM if you're driving more aggressively but it's minimal while cruising.

The only other mod I had at the time was a K&N Typhoon Intake. I also had a Flashpro basemap but that doesn't change the sound.

The install was not hard at all but in my case I had stubborn rusted bolts on the section that connects to the catalytic converter. Those set me back a bit. The exhaust note is more noticable than stock but it isn't "loud", if that makes sense. There's very little drone but it has a good tone

@@zodspeed yeah there is some drone between 2500-4000rpm but it’s tolerable imo. It’s the quietest out of all the catbacks made for this car.

You'd have to weld it on besides its not worth for an r18 lol the exhaust is worth more than the car

The engines are completely different, so they will not fit without modification

@@msalazar89 Not from just the catback but the sound makes it much more fun to drive. To actually make any noticeable gains you also need performance headers and a tune

Maybe a couple horsepower at most. To get the full potential out of the exhaust it needs to be tuned, which mine isn't yet.

Hi there, I wanted to ask what’s your opinion on it after a couple of months. I need something quiet. Do you know if this is a good recommendation or if I should just go back to bone stock? I want the quietest thing money can buy.

This is the quietest full catback they make for the 8th gen's. I personally think it's not loud but has a more prominent and deeper tone. The only thing is that it drones a bit around 2700-3800 rpm but it's definitely tolerable on long drives and won't wake up neighbors.

Trust me, in person it has a nice bass tone to it at idle that camera's don't pick up. Under load it sounds louder too I just didn't have clips of it.
