The late Ginger Baker may have respected Jack Bruce's talent and hated the man but Ginger played with Jack more than any other musician in his career. He always seemed to go back to Jack when he needed a great bassist. Played with him in many inceptions of bands including his own projects. The love-hate relationship that was profound. These three late musicians were marvelous together.

@@ronmartella4703 I started college in NJ in '66. In the fall of '67 the few early dopers, of which I was one, took the train into the city to see Cream at Cafe au GoGo in Greenwich Village. We copped some lousy weed and some poppers and ended up in the second row center. Oh My God! Ginger's double bass drums and Jack's bass had us out of our seats and screaming. Fortunately Eric's guitar was even louder, sharp enough to enter directly into our intoxicated brains. A few weeks later I dropped acid, soon dropped out of school, and spent the next 15 years living the hippie life. I still love getting high and listening to sharp electric guitar.
