The late Ginger Baker may have respected Jack Bruce's talent and hated the man but Ginger played with Jack more than any other musician in his career. He always seemed to go back to Jack when he needed a great bassist. Played with him in many inceptions of bands including his own projects. The love-hate relationship that was profound. These three late musicians were marvelous together.

I had the same experience. It was a Tuesday afternoon I walked in to gak the guy behind the desk say you know it's a Tuesday when Gary Moore is in. He was trying 3 petals out playing through a small fender and a 50s butterscotch Tele. We chatted for a while and he asked me what pedal sounded best then he asked me to play. At the end he got the shop to give me 8 packs of free strings for my help. A true gentleman and a hero.

Never much heard of Gary Moore, but love Jack Bruce and Ginger. Started watching Jack videos and ended up here. Spoonful is a favorite in my house. Very impressed with Gary. I'm a Clapton guitar lover since the late 1960's and I think Gary's playing and improvising are right up there. And that must be the famous Greeny guitar now owned by Kirk Hammett. Just wow. Wow!.

@@ronmartella4703 I started college in NJ in '66. In the fall of '67 the few early dopers, of which I was one, took the train into the city to see Cream at Cafe au GoGo in Greenwich Village. We copped some lousy weed and some poppers and ended up in the second row center. Oh My God! Ginger's double bass drums and Jack's bass had us out of our seats and screaming. Fortunately Eric's guitar was even louder, sharp enough to enter directly into our intoxicated brains. A few weeks later I dropped acid, soon dropped out of school, and spent the next 15 years living the hippie life. I still love getting high and listening to sharp electric guitar.

GINGER BAKER I was only tweeting with Ginger days before his passing. Rebel Rouser, Hellraiser, yes. Musician Extraordinary, yes. and A Really Nice Guy. Ginger, you are sadly missed. You your mates Jack Bruce & Gary Moore, brilliant. Spare a thought for ERIC CLAPTON, who is not well. ERIC, please do not leave us.

Gary Moore the best blues guitarist in my book, insane vibrato, searing sustaining notes, fast as lightning when he wanted to, just incredible melodic work, he was awesome playing anything jazz, blues, hard Rock... I would take him even over Joe bonamassa
