I know this an old vid, so hopefully you can answer lol is that a one way valve and if so, which way did you set the air flow? Away from the manifold?
@HQGARAGE8 ай бұрын
No it is a 2 way valve controlling the air out and in. It just limits the air pressure to match the shorter lines. Hopefully that makes sense

thanks for the video. I've been looking to do this for mine a long time ago but never figured out what parts I needed. now that I bought the ptc air flow control valves, do I connect them to my front air lines if my front drops faster than my rear?

Hey 👋 my pleasure and thanks for watching. Yes that is correct you put them on the lines you want to slow down.
@stephen315chan3 жыл бұрын
thanks for your reply. now would doing so also slow down the front when airing up? not sure if this is common but even tho my front lowers faster, my rear actually airs up faster.

I have a 2018 crew cab. mines lowers from the front 1st. So when I install these valves when I lock it up will it go up evenly or will the back go up 1st?
@HQGARAGE2 жыл бұрын
If you put these in it will go down and up evenly
@tare1stteamforgiato1672 жыл бұрын
@@HQGARAGE thanks your your response. I was worried it wouldn’t go up evenly. Because without the control valves the back goes up 1st. I was told because the motor is heavy that that’s why it does that.

This is great! The only down side is airing up is very slow for my front now compared to my rear but I guess looks over convenience🤟🏻

Yes that is very true. It’s all about preference and too bad it wasn’t a 1 way valve so it didn’t affect airing up

@HQGARAGE Жыл бұрын
You need to make the front airlines the same as the rears or use the valves for the fronts
@johnnyrodriguez2493 Жыл бұрын
@@HQGARAGE , they are all the same size. I will swap them around and hope that works. I also removed the rear shocks to see if that helped. But the same. Would you know if it’s possible to relocate my front shocks to improve the stability. Thanks

Do you run higher than 150 psi? I want to pull the trigger but they state max 145 psi. I run 150 psi in the tank. Also, do you really believe 4 equal length lines would make it air up and down the same? I'm thinking of running longer lines to test that theory.
@HQGARAGE Жыл бұрын
I would typically run 175 psi in the tank and absolutely the equal length airlines would absolutely make it air up and down equally. I had a friend do this to his M3 and I can confirm it works
