Very helpful! The shop I paid to install my bags is telling me it is t possible to install these sensors on my s3, but everyone else including bag riders where I bought the kit from is saying it’s very possible. I do think I’m mechanically inclined enough do this on my own. Afraid of screwing it up. My ocd makes it hard to make decisions and I question evening unless I know for sure this is how it’s done.

Hello sir, how do you know how far to compress the bags when checking for sensor travel? I jacked up my front suspension but I’m afraid of damaging my bag.
@HQGARAGE4 жыл бұрын
You can compress it all the way, just don’t lift the car off the jack. You just have to use your best judgement and you won’t wreck the bag. It’s compresses that far when you air out

Thank you for the fast response, Wow this is better customer service than the place I bought my bags from! Thank you for the great tutorial, keep up the great work 👍🏼

Sir how the Load is Defined on Spring With respect to Arm Movement.Can it Affect the Height Sensor
@HQGARAGE5 жыл бұрын
When you put a heavier load in the car the height sensor can sense that which increases the pressure in the bags to keep the car at the set height

Awesome video how did you make the front brackets for the sensors to go around the sway bar?
@HQGARAGE5 жыл бұрын
I used a piece of sheetmetal to basically make a clamp around the sway bar, bolted it together with the end of the rod for the height sensor. If you send me a message on IG I can send you some photos.

How is the longevity of the 3h system ?
@HQGARAGE3 жыл бұрын
So far it’s been great with no issues. Almost 4 years on the 335 and coming up to a year on the M3

People say the sensors give issues frequently have you noticed that? I wanna get the 3h system on my car that’s why I’m asking thanks for your help

In all honesty the sensors are not install friendly, they are incredibly finicky to get set up the first time but once they are all dialled in they work flawlessly from my experience.

@@HQGARAGE did you auto calibrate or manual calibrate?

I did the auto calibrate and then adjusted the heights to what I liked after the fact.
