In spite of the errors, there's a lot to be admired here. I wonder what her compulsory routines looked like.

Same. One day I will get it. I truly loved the evolution from this routine to her 1997 routine. Her and Knizhnik were cut from the same mold. Great flexibility. Too bad Dzyundzyak didn't have a great program to back her up. Her coach and the head coach of Uzbekistan team Kuznetsova was a great fantastic coach, but their training situation was horribly and abysmal. I don't know how Chusovitina stayed there to train.

@@211jump Ahh, so that is who she reminds me of. Knizhnik! But yeah, Dzyundyak probably could have flourished if she trained in a different country. Speaking of Chusovitina, I thought she was badly underscored here in Atlanta, at least on vault and floor. Her Phelps vault was the closest to a layout position one could get but she still scored lower than Amanar. And she probably did the most difficult floor routine in the competition.
