Ilan Pappé went into the state archives in the '80s, when 1948-documents were declassified, and he managed to read these, before they were reclassified in the new millenium. There are countless interviews with and lectures by Ilan, and he's written lots of books. If hesitant about, whether to read his works, or watch his testimony, ask yourself, why did the state reclassify documents concerning crucial events in Palestinian history.

#FrancescaAlbanese I'm an average guy from mid N America and have a very simple solution for this seemingly insurmountable problem by bureaucrats with much higher pay grades. "I give it... to you...for free". Give the Palestinians complete sovereignty and autonomy in Gaza and the West Bank. Let them grow and prosper in peace, harmony and dignity as we all deserve with mutual global trade. Basically... just do nothing and leave them alone. It's that simple. This will go along way toward peace and prosperity in the entire region... And the World.

The modern commitment to international law and human rights has never taken hold in Middle East societies. The evidence for this is overwhelming: the dead and displaced indigenous people of Syria, Yemen, Libya, Sudan, Iraq, Lebanon, Sinai (IS), Afghanistan, Kashmir, Mali and so on; persons suspected of being unfriendly to the regime are routinely brutalized by unaccountable state security tough guys; corrupt judicial systems with sham trials; imprisonment in terribly cruel conditions; executions. International law and human rights are only meaningful if a large influential part of a society understands them and commits to them. To deploy international law and human rights in support of radical rejectionist Palestinian nationalists is to champion ethnic cleansing and genocide of Jews who wish to exist peaceably in their only homeland in less than 1% of the Arab Middle East.

In general there is a need for an overhaul, of the refugee convention, so it fits the world we live in. And stop the west from going further And further to the right. As they do not want this level of immigration from places that are inkompatible with secular society.

I think there has been enough research from the UN, it's like going in circles, if i just constantly raised problem and no solution I would be out of a job. The arabs and the Jews settled in the area together, however the Jews managed to develop infrastructure and farming the Arabs contributed nothing other than a threat to the jews "from the jordan river to the sea". The arabs that settled in this area from other arab nations are from the other arab countries, why aren't you working with them to address the lack of development? Other arab nations see these arabs as terror's and threats to their country. As to your comment Francesca, you don't want to go to Isrea Perhpas you should hear the other side. You are not fit for the job nore will you be sucessful.
