This game was intense. I thought Beasty was done when he realized the AI doesn't get eliminated by just losing their landmarks anymore. What a great pivot to get the sacred sites and get them just before the AIs wonder would win

I swear you can win by destroying all landmarks. Played a game yesterday and won by defeating all their landmarks. 🙃

@@ItsLukeDude You can only win against teamed AI by destroying ALL enemy team AI landmarks at once. So, for example, if you have 2 enemy team AI in Imperial age, you'd have to kill all 8 landmarks before any were rebuilt. If you kill all 4 of one AI, and two of the other AI, but the first AI rebuilds a landmark, then it wont work. So you have to thoroughly wipe them out all at once. Lol. Very annoying.

It's so funny to watch this as a new player, when the hardest AI beat my ass yesterday 1v1 building a forward TC in a sacred site. And Beasty just controls 7 of them lol. (I beat hardest AI a lot of times, but I'm still not consistent with myself in gameplay, working on it)

@@gickygackers Honestly the hotkey in Aoe4 kinda sucks, but it not very micro intensive. I am not very good w/ hotkey in this game and still hit Diamond just by understanding the strategic part watching guides/etc. It okay to be a clicker in this game vs sc2. I think I barely have 30-40apm lmao.

If you're a clicker, learning just some of the basics hotkeys such as queuing production or research upgrades is the simplest way to gain speed. You don't have to do a lot more if you already make the good decision, it just accelerates the chains of commands you can give

Beating AI with wonder is probably the best way because they are very bad at controlling the sacred sites. You can just send like 10 knights onto a sacred site at random and the AI does nothing about it.

AI can't deal with keeps inbetween their landmarks. They'll keep sending vills to repair until they're all dead.

I use Advanced Game Mode when playing against AI Teams, allows you to set the old behaviour of user being out of the game when landmarks are destroyed.

@@P4PKing Essentially yeah, APM is best kept up by always doing something, and always doing something translates to uptime or tempo in a lot of games, in this case I'd call it uptime but a game like League of Legends people tend to call it tempo. It's a good habit for those who have the capacity to be fast because it trains your body to always need to be doing something at every moment so you don't slow down, losing uptime and thus not accomplishing as much as you actually could. It extends to a lot of facets of the game, but stuff like microing units, making sure vills are always doing something and not idle, making sure you're always making units, building buildings, etc, are good examples.

Hey Beasty I only noticed it at 36:05, but if you shift + W, you queue 5 MAA at a time, if you hold shift and press W twice, you get 10 etc.

I don't know man even though its 1v7 none of em were attacking your base directly or pressuring you 15 minutes into the game and when they did it was the lamest shit like mangudai firing arrows at your houses. I mean this is a tough challenge to finish the game but surviving dosnt seem that difficult if they dont attack you. I was expecting a triple ram rush by minute 7. I figure 1 v 3 gold players would be tougher than this. The AI needs a buff

It's either bugged or something is wrong. Whenever i play vs Hardest AI they send armies of 40+ including 10+ siege.. meanwhile i watch this and not even one of the untouched AI's sent a single army to pressure

I agree with you all, I beat every civ on hardest but for some reason after taking a break for months the damn chinese got to imperial and had so many barracks across the map NATO couldn't even stop them I ran out of juice I can't control every damn area on the map the AI of course can I threw in the towel, my face literally got wiped across the ass on this one. So I don't know how the AI on Beasty's game wasn't as aggressive, not taking away from him he is on another dimension i cant do what he does on this game, just saying the AI needs some work

idk if anyone believes that, but hardest ai does NOT get free resources... you can test yourself by tower rush/ringing them and they'll stop producing anything, not even villagers.

In may 2021I read the article, where te microsoft developer team on aoe 4 declared, they want to apply machine earning AI, what will be able to beat the best players on the world. Unfortunately will never happening, because the machine learning AI is very limited by collected data. For example Elon Musks developer team, when they builded almost unbeatable AI in Dota2. During 6 months they collected data as 120 years of playtime every day. Still the AI had some limits and some of game mechanic was banned, but during one weekend, was everyone able to play against it. The score was 57000 wins, 51 loses for AI. Ofcorse some people were explore how to exploit it, but in general the profesional teams were smashed by it.
