If there ever was the perfect example of a woman that has IT factor in age because she practices physiological hormone restoration…it’s you Dr. Gersh. I don’t know anyone that can retain the information AND so eloquently relay it to others. YOU are my inspiration, and I feel so grateful to be getting a head start as a mother of three at age 45 (nearly 46😉). You are literally saving lives, and quality of lives.

Great video. I hope you make a breakthrough with your audience today. I have 2 friends that had hysterectomies and were never offered hormone replacement. I feel so sad for them. Now they are both in their mid 70s and are being told they are too old. One has horrible hot flashes and is being denied due to age. Thanks for the work you do. My prayer is that the medical community will wake up and realize that women have been stuffing long enough due to negligence. We deserve to be listened to and cared for.

I am SO thankful for finding my hormone doctor 10 years ago when I finally found the answer about what was going on in my body…Perimenopause. His approach is the same as yours Dr. G… putting hormones back into the body which we naturally lose…which in turn makes me sooooo much better which adds to having a high quality of Life and keeping all my internal body from head to toe, in the best conditions not just for today, also for years and years down the road. Seriously, 2000% difference inside my body after starting BHRT nine years ago. My science database brain has learned so much about all this in the past 10 years…which allows me to educate other females. Thank you Dr. G for explaining in detail this difference between HRT and MRT… huge different perspective when you peel back the layers. ❤

So great to hear your lecture. I have taken HRT for 20 years and this decision has meant that I look and feel like I am 55. I take tresequence. There are no doctors for me to see in Denmark and want to contact and work with a hormone specialist..

So grateful for this information. I was so disappointed when @melrobbins had a menopause doctor on her podcast discouraging and criticizing testing, monitoring and personalizing hormone levels 🤦🏻♀️ such a huge disservice and risk for women.

Thank you so much Dr Gersh 💛 I want my hormones replaced to the optimal level for me. I want to feel well and function. Now I understand why doctors in the NHS (UK) are so useless at prescribing decent doses of HRT. They aren't aiming for a healthier, happier patient, only for vasomotor symptom control. Drat!, drat!, and double drat !!!! 😭xx

Why does insurance cover thyroid treatment and thyroid hormones but not estrogen and progesterone?

I’m a 55-year-old woman who has lived with the diagnosis of MS for the past 21 years I asked doctors years ago to take a sample of my hormone levels because they were doing every other test under the sun. My then female doctor told me that there were no such tests that I could have done and honestly, I had two young children and I didn’t follow through anyway I am now 55 and have been in full on menopause for the past five years easily and the doctors never Suggested that I take any hormone therapy. I would love to, I think that it would heal every system in my body. How do I get a doctor to hear me or listen to me and do what I ask?

What would the dose be for actual replacement?

Dr Gersh can you explain why the estradiol patch causes high blood pressure only in some people? I’m one of the few people in this group. I’m trying to figure out my next step. I can add a blood pressure pill or I can stop the patch and switch to a new medication for hot flashes that isn’t a hormone. But that would not be protective of the rest of the body.

How is “optimal” determined with menopausal BHRT if I have no idea what my hormone levels were when I was younger?

I want to switch to cyclical use. Taking a 0,5 vivelle patch dot/100 progesterone nightly. Do I just stop progesterone for first 2 weeks? I don’t mind bleeding. My doctors(GP and Obgyn) both have no idea about the dosage. Anyone have switched to cyclical? Thank you
