Ok I was loving this, you can tell Hrvy was loving it and I think that's what made me so excited and energetic about the dance. I really do think they deserved the scores they got and I hope Janette gets her first finale because I have FAITH (aha I know i'm really funny) that they are gonna make it!

Those Legs were all over the place, but were so delicately placed. Timing, Precision & Accuracy all on point. A superb lineup this year, looking forward to the competition, everyone showed great potential, but HRVY's dance 😘👌🏻 Agreed with Motsi the best first dance I've ever seen. EVER!

I'm not usually a big fan of Janette's choreography; but, I really did like this one. Lots of jive steps, and they were done really well. The standards are high this year, much higher than DWTS imo. Well done.

The only thing that can fix 2020 is Janette making her first final. The woman hella deserves and Hrvy is good. He got a 9, the first time in week one for a long time (even Kelvin didn’t get a 9, although he did deserve it and I’m sorry Motsi but Kelvin was definitely better). I think he will be better at Latin but that doesn’t mean he won’t be fab at ballroom too!

It’s really about opinion. When I watched Kelvin last year, I was very impressed, especially since he had such short notice. I completely expected Maisie’s to be good, she’d already shown her ability and great hip movement. When I watched this however, I was just in shock the whole time. I am almost certain that Bruno would have also given this a 9 too

Personally I much preferred this to Kelvin. Smashed the jive! I think Hrvy would be the right partner for Janette to win with- she hasn’t had anyone as good as him before, except Aston at his best but I think her choreography has improved since then. This is the right pairing

@j4Rose I wouldn’t say bad but even in Latin I feel she has given them too much choreography in an attempt to show them off, where sometimes less is more. What impressed me most was how mature Hrvy is when he dances- it adds years where he comes across as very young when he’s talking. That shows real leadership and acting ability

@j4Rose she’s not bad, her latin is just the best on the show for latin (maybe Oti’s samba’s are on par but that’s it), so it doesn’t quite compare and she’s had some great ballroom dances: Aston’s foxtrot and quickstep, Jake wood’s American smooth and her Viennese waltz with Peter where all great
