One thing I never understood about the RoR community is why creators make projects private… and I feel like thats one of the issues killing RoR. I feel like the community would be a lot better if creators made models & terrains public… but that’s just me.

It is because this thing in RoR called "busfag". Means when someone repeatedly asks for content. Also it's because people mod content without permission. If it's public, you can mod it. If it's private, you can't mod it. It also is up to the original creator. That's why I don't release stuff, and if I do release something, I'll remaster it and keep it private.
