Great to see the mighty return of Yawwie News! Thanks for always focusing on quality over quantity, as I'm glad to see the several rail related updates across the pond (the RailAdvent link I had saved didn't show recent news at some point, so I kind of neglected it in my Pensyfan Periodical for a bit). I'm definitely a fan of the many promotional liveries that are running across the UK, namely the Eurovision ones and the several named trains on the LNER Azumas. Still love the EMR Cass 810s tho, as I feel the more rectangular front makes them some of the best looking EMUs in the entirety of the UK. I also never heard of the Golden Spanner awards until this point, as I feel it's nice that certain railroads have annual awards, as it helps recognize some lesser known aspects of railroading, in this case being maintenance depots.

08:00 I remember working that unit while it sounded like that… had even regular commuters who know nothing about trains come up to me during the journey to ask me to take a look at it… I told them I think it sounded rather nice! Well, I did buzz the driver up and let him know about it but he said there wasn’t any problem on his end and he had already prepped the unit, so who knows 😅

I’m still waiting for Great Northern to start introducing the Class 379s in service that Greater Anglia replaced them with the Class 745/1 and Class 720.

@TheosTrainsWalesOfficial I heard they had been tested at 110mph, but considering it is GTR they will probably stay at 100mph, maybe with there couplers being altered to be able to double with the 287 and run at 110mph but I don't think that's likely.

New Bakerloo Line trains are also on order and won’t be in service until 2028 or 2029. And the new DLR trains are expected to enter service from next year. Avanti West Coast have now started using their new Class 805 and Class 807 Evero and EMR to introduce the Class 810 Aurora from next year.
