Hi Simon, it's because in addition to the packed track schedule, there's full access to the paddock and a massive amount of action to enjoy off-track too! Have you joined us before? If not, you totally should! We'd love to see you there!!

Even though the stands look empty, there are still allot of people using them. But almost all the people go to the paddocks in the morning so that's why they look quiet.

Who is doing the commentary!? "Dean on pole in the Lola T70" which looks a lot like a McLaren. "The other Sports 2000s with BMW and Ford race engines" are probably Under 2 litre Group 6 cars. "Hilborn injection stacks" more likely Lucas. "The big distributor at the front" would be the magneto at the rear. Sigh ...

What American Cars is this announcer talking about. No American Car ever won a Can-Am race. Between McLaren and Lola there were no other winners until Porsche came along and killed Group 7 both on the track and off the track I have to add that this race was a carbon copy of 95% of all Group 7 Can-Am races. Well, actually there were usually two McLarens running away from everybody else. John Burton you are my hero!

The Don Nichols Shadow DN4 won races in 1974 and the championship, fully American cars...but that was after they nerfed the Porsches and everyone else bowed out.
