Be honest, the Faxon comp decreases muzzle flip more than your “design.”

That is correct. Muzzle flip reduction is about 38% with the Faxon. I have measured 30% with my design, but I also have measured 46% reduction in recoil width, and 75% reduction in shot-to-shot recovery. Compensators are more complex than simply deducting muzzle rise. On a Glock 43x I average about 15.5 degrees of muzzle rise with no comp of any kind. With my comp I average about 11.2 degrees, and with the Faxon about 10.2. The issue with ultra aggressive compensators with perpendicular ports is that they cause major issues with reliability. I’d be happy to post some videos of me shooting with the Faxon and running into these exact issues as I have many. In addition, at a very high level a shooter may notice the difference between 10.2 and 11.2 degrees of reduction, but for most folks, that 1 degree will not really be noticeable. Personally I’ll take 100% relatability across ammo types and an extra 1 degree of muzzle rise all day. I appreciate the comment because it is a good point!!

Have you had any experience pinning these? I’m in CA and yes I need to move out but this design looks very interesting to me to try

So what’s the difference between the loudmouth and the warhead aside from aesthetic differences?

Centennial defense 19lb recoil spring - but the factory 17lb works great as well!
