I fitted the foot as shown in the video. My machine is a 3321. However when I lower the presser foot it sits on the fabric and does not bob up and down as shown in the video so the fabric does not move freely beneath. I bought the foot online and even paid a huge custom duty on it more than the cost of the foot. I do not believe the foot is defective as my local singer sales and service dealer tells me. Im from Goa, India. The foot is Dreamstitch 006016008 . Any advice?

Who designs these fucking things! You need 15 hands to do anything! I can't get the damn darning foot on because I have to hold a level to raise the bar it attaches to with my right hand then hold the foot in my left hand then with my god damn third hand I get to try and worm the damn thing on to the bar and put the screw back in!!! I am sitting here for 40 minutes just trying to set up to darn a sock! The cost of my time and anguish alone is worth the gasoline to drive to the store and just buy a new pair!!!!
