I got 3 if these in my collection i put rubber o rings between all the link arms makes a massive difference to the stability i put it against my rs4 & there near identical apart from colour metall chassis I actually like the top deck on the fish holds the fuel tank more stable Thanks again

Great video. I'm glad that HSP still manufacture nitros. They are great entry cars. And seems like the on road version takes away Backwashs two biggest drawbacks, tires and shocktowers.

Thanks for the vid and not just intentionally making a spectacle of the car. I can look at this shelf and see about every brand out there and think not one of those companies would have made a dime off of me if not for this cheap entry point. We need more of these I found something I enjoy for $200 that makes it alot easier to than go for the $500 on up ones I wouldn't have taken a chance for much more and I'm sure there is many more like me. I wouldn't be watching this channel either if not for the flying fish I suppose.

hey my dude!! Love your comment! I'm glad you can appreciate a good deal for some SICKENING nitro when you see it, just like lol. The 200 dollar price point is nearly impossible to get anything NEW and good for in the nitro world, but this is for sure a contender. Keep in mind this one was already used and abused when I got it. Flying Fish will never be caught and the Oceans will never be overfished! lol.

Here in Malaysia there are going for 650RM which is 140 USD so there a good fun car and can upgrades are cheap due to China being so close. I always run rotor start can stand pull start. My HSP Canper buggy is still going after 12yrs.

Hybrid!!! You have got to try some LRPs out!!! I cant get enough!!!! Every single parts is ordable and replacable. And in my opinion better than noverossi or the greats!!! For an affordable price!!! Make sure you gwt the newest version with the updated carb!!! Snooth as a ceramic bearing to tune!!

I reccomend the VP Pro 5000mah over the HSP 1200 thats in the box. Fully charged the hsp and realized it took maybe 2.5 hours to charge compared to VPs 5000mah took about 48 hours. The HSP just would not get the plug hot enough and the glow would kind of fade away compared to VPs instant and way hotter. i tried so hard to start the mf got the VP in the mail got it charged up and bam car started... was able to break in and tune properly. Also tried a brand new HSP ignitor that didt come with the car and sane as the other one... trashhhhhhhhhhhh but car is fun

Hey buddy, you could really have a number of problems there. The first thing to do is to make sure your batteries are powerful and in good condition, then check to make sure the receiver is turned on, and there is a light in the receiver, you might need to re-bind the receiver to the radio also.

They're actually pretty good cars I had the Nitro buggy Hyperspeed and it was really fun I've still got it just need to rebuild it again and I've got a sunfire electric version of the same buggy and it's pretty good haha thats a big claim against aarma. 😂😂

Hey man, thanks for checking out this video, yes, the bodies from all of the 1/10 scale HPI rs4s will be an easy fit. This is the same exact wheelbase and they use the same exact 10th scale rubber tires as well. With a better steering servo to eliminate some of the slop this is an overall quite adequate ride.

@boydaustin47 Hey... if it could be made less crappy (haha!)... That would be good! The Kyosho FW-06 exists so there are parts for now. HPI and Traxxas quit their 1/10 on road cars. A guy near me has a brand new 4Tec 3.3 He wants $1000 firm. I don't have that kind of money. Even $500 for a used R4 or 4tec is too much. Then you have to hope it doesn't break a part you don't have a backup for. So...I think it would be cool to see if it is possible to make a less sucky version of this car. Something pass-able.

Dude its your steering trim/travel not the servo. You also have a tweak in the car. Weigh each corner, set your ride heights, toe etc.

hey buddy! how you doing! thanks for checking out this video, as far as I am aware this model is identical to the newest ones. There have not been any changes to this HSP chassis in over a decade. It's possible you have a slightly different brand model, maybe sold under another name, but still mostly the same you know.

I bought this car. A while back it will throw you in the curb its swirling like no ones business the engine will fire up in 1 pull ... insane... the chassis will cut your fingers be careful its badly sanded..... to change 1 single thing on this chasiss you need to dissasemble the entire thing badly designed but you get what you pay for if only it couldn't swirl it would be almost perfect
