I’d say if you have a good 500sq ft, it would be decent indoors but you’ll want to open it up outside some too! The tight spot in my garage was probably 200 sq ft.

I'm pretty sure this shares the same chassis with the HNR Panther which is being tauted as a really fun street drifter. I am going to buy my 10yr old the carbon version of this truck. What batteries do you recommend running on that truck in stock form? I got him the Flyhal truck last year and the motor has went out in it. I was debating on upgrading the motor and everything like you did in the video for that tuck, and still might, but instead am going to get him a complete new truck and it looks like the Rlaarlo Terminator Carbon is the one I will be getting him. Anything else you might recommend me getting or doing to it as well besides the battery?

Good video on that slick-ass little drifter. Drifters usually don’t drift that well out the box… to be honest the “drifters” that you just can’t really do ANYTHING with go right to the kids… and track drifting indoors on those tight little tracks is boring and slooow. So… it’s street bash/drift for me and people like me all the way!! So that’s why this is a great video… in my opinion

Thanks! Actually I’m working on a brushless drifter on this same chassis now (different car under a different name) and it’s crazy powerful and definitely drifts better. Also has a gyro though. It does take getting used to though. This one it was tougher to break the tires loose on my street.

@@DerbyCityRC interesting, I’ll be honest I don’t have much experience with drifters so what little experience I have I felt like I had more control of my drifts at low speeds but that could just be lack of experience on my part. Looking forward to seeing the video on the brushless project when it’s ready

@BargainBashersRc ya it’s more that a higher power car can spin the wheels faster which gives it less traction by making it difficult for the tires to grab the ground and allowing it to slide. With this, on my street, the tires were grabbing the ground too well because of lower wheel speed and torque. It worked perfectly at the school parking lot though. This one would have worked really well with plastic drift tires, which the brushless one I have also has 👍

They sent them to me directly so I figured they would be easy to obtain but I can’t find them anywhere either. As far as when they will be available for purchase, they have yet to answer that question. I have now asked them 3 times. Same with when the brushless version will be available. I think these are models only on Amazon for now. Not sure why they wouldn’t have them on their own website, I too noticed that.

Hmmm, chasis looks a bit like the HNR Panther. You think we can get spares for the panther using the spares for this? HSP parts seems more common than HNR ones

Yup! Many of the parts fit. Actually pretty much all of them minus of course these are weaker electronics. The chassis on the hnr also has wider “floor boards” but this chassis would still work it would just let the body sides flap around a lot more.

With the exception of losing its steering trim setting it appeared to be a good that was a lot of fun to drive. Your video is a combination of bashing and drifting. So, Is that called brifting or drashing?

Nice video! Seems like a very good RC! What’s the turn count on that brushed motor? Also, what’s the pinion size and pitch? Is the motor mount adjustable in case of changing pinion sizes?

It does look like a HSP Flying Fish until you take the shell off. But even then. it still has those posts on the front hubs for the camber links like the flying fish (and tamiya tt series) They make great rallycross cars btw, I've been watching some racing lately on PS7Indonesia

Are most Drifters that are in the races on KZbin 1/10 scales? 'Lovin' the Vendetta, BTW! Have you ever made a video on the pros and cons of over-volting and/or over celling your cars by wrong battery?

I think so but never done a race like that. Nice glad you got that deal! Never made a video specifically on that, but it usually ends in smoke or just inactivity lol. Best to upgrade the esc to handle it so it’s fun, that I’ve done a few times!! 😄😃😃🔥🔥

Ive got this car but ive upgraded the spur gear and now its got a brushless 550 motor and a 60amp esc running a 3s lipo also upgraded the steering servo, ive broken nothing on the car apart from the body is destroyed and i keep blowong the tires out ive clocked it at 56mph and i cpuld still upgrade it more love this car

Update I've stripped this car down and rebuilding it from the ground up, new shell new motor and esc new steering servo turned it into a rwd locked the rear diff and plastic drift tires, haven't got everything to do this but haven't built it yet lol. But I was wondering if there is away to modify the steering travel?

Dude, I sent you an Email. Read it. I think you'll be glad you did. Are most drift RCs the 1/10 scale like this? Have you ever noticed that the races they show online are always so...slow? I spoke to a person who has a store and channel, and he said that they really aren't built for speed, and they don't make big tracks because RC stores don't make a lot of money. I was thinking of just doing the thing outside. I'd rather be outside, wouldn't you? Vendettas don't drift, do they? Thanks for the video. I'll be watching. So this is on on-road car, not necessarily a dedicated drifter. Drifters are usually rather slow. Yes that crash was fully a mistake. In fact max was PISSED that he didn’t get to drive it lol would have much rather drifted right on around it lol

Aww man! Do you know the feeling when the surface on your home street isn't slippery enough to drift your ARRCEEEH car like on the parking lot? Yeah sad times 😢 but hey there might be a solution! Just make your young ones earn their first cash by having them shove the 200 pound polishing machine up and down the street in their free time ALL THE TIME. Those little buggers should have plenty! Not only will this buff up your son's from the painstakingly hard labor but also buff up the streets to a near mirror finish level with enough time and grinding paste. It's a win win win situation, hear me out!
