There have been several HSTs in service on the east and west coast mainlines between the Intercity 125 and the class 800s and Pendalinos and Super Voyagers still run on the west coast mainline. though 125mph remains the maximum operational speed.

​@StandardDifferent they have no pantograph. Diesel electric = diesel engine powers generator, generator makes electricity, electricity goes to electric motors, electric motors move train.

No wrong about it being a Push Pull train at 0:50 and the Push Pull train would be the InterCity 225, the British Rail Class 43 + Mark 3 coaches is a Top and Tail train.
