HTC Bolt Review

I've had this phone for a few weeks now. I live in one of Sprints aggregated cities (Kansas City) and the 4G is very fast. Anywhere from 20-30 mbps and up to 30 mbps on WiFi Hotspot. It also has an UPDATED 810 chip so it doesn't overclock and overheat, something everyone forgets to bring up. If you need more than 6 hours of Screen time in a signal day of use, you should probably detach yourself. For any normal person that is more than enough.

I don't understand why people are making a big deal over the phone being exclusive to Sprint. At&t has phones that are only available on their network (i.e. Samsung active phones). what about the Motorola turbo and etc. those are only exclusive to Verizon. What HTC and Sprint are doing isn't new

Chad Singleton I expect this to be a new era of LG, competing right up there with Samsung for the Android top spot. I know ill never buy another Samsung phone again. Bought the Note 7 after 2 years of my LG G3, and they fucked me. I have the LG V20 now and it's the best phone for me, that I have ever used. If it had dual front facing speakers, it would be the closet to power perfection we've ever come to.

the snapdragon 810 used in the HTC BOLT is a revised version 2.0 as it's been vastly improved with the heat n throttling issues fixed, and so I'm not sure why this dude seems to think this isn't a high end chipset because it very much is although its not quire as fast as the snapdragon 820 or 835 the fact is you'll never feel like you're using a mid range phone at all as the HTC BOLT is very much a premium device with industry-leading audio technology, and a very sharp quad hd 1440p display....... When this dude says underpowered that's ridiculous as the snapdragon 810 version 2 is still a high end chipset

No other headphones will work nor any converter.Just download audio router app from the play store.plug in your converter and turn ON the audio jack option from the app.When you remove the converter(usb type c to 3.5 mm) turn off the audio jack option from the audio router app

OLD! The 810 is still a very good processor and powerful. 3 gb of ram is still more than enough if optimized right. I understand it's older than the new flagship but it's not HTC's flagship but a lower high end phone!. It is $600 worth of a phone though. Remember the Nexus 6p with the same specs cost more than this!

Extended Views What kind of a plan do you have with Sprint? The $2.50 ($60) is restricted to only certain people with certain plans...However, Sprint doesn't specify that in their advertising of the phone for $2.50 a month. I'm getting the phone too...I've gotta pay $12.50 a month ($300) which I'm completely fine with because I feel that's about what the phone is really worth.

looked at the specs to make sure it don't have 3gb of internal storage it has 32gb. Bluetooth has to be charged and I don't how much the type C connection take less power than a 3.5 mm port, but these days slimmer the better.

Apparently they went with the 810 processor because it is better equipped to handle Sprints new fast LTE speeds. Though it's still very new and many cities don't have the upgraded networks yet. a poor choice, crazy pricing for the phone.

Im the only who likes this phone? I mean yes, its SD810 and no headphone jack, but besides that it is IP57, Nougat, good camera combo. Yes SD 810 the issue, but I currently have the nexus 6p and have not issue at all, no headphone jack? yes, but I think that its how it would be in the future, Im currently looking for a nexus6p like-device but dont want to spent more than $350-$400, yes there's exists OP3, S7Edge,Pixel, but in my country there are hard to get or expensive, so the only choices I have is this(who I have seen like 5 selling here in my country), the S6 edge, maybe Huawei honor 8, so I will definetely take this besides that ones, I mean; I dont love the phone, but I like it (plus that 6hours SOT time is excelent for me, nexus had only 3:30-4 hours)
