This is my second like of the day and both were your videos. So informative, helpful, and exactly what I needed to know. I cannot believe someone left an ugly comment. I have watched 20 HTC One M8 videos and I promise her two were the best. If you think she goes too fast. Replay that part...it is so much better than the slow talkers who treat us learners like we are in kindergarten or think games are one of the must have apps..You are awesome! I am a math teacher, so I know a good presentation when I hear it. Took notes and ready to make my HTC One M8 the best it can be!

If you use two fingers to scroll down the notifications bar, you'll get the settings screen immediately. Nice video btw. :)

I got mine the verry first day of its release and still have it now,it's the red case and runs wonderfull, i have the S7 edge now but keep my M7 for the sake of just loving it to much to depart with it,its still like new even after its release date, i tried the htc one M8 and M9 but never could be as good as this M7 period..

To reduce the size of your application window you can drag and drop two or more applications together so that it will create a folder and you can rename the folder eg: socialmedia

Really? When ever I used that one it always kept on asking me to download additional skins and for some reason I kept on having to remind my phone that this was my prefered method of getting around my phone...has it grown up? Is it time for me to give it another try :P

Hi! I purchased an HTC one 2 months ago.. Thank you so much for your video it helped a lot. I do have a question. You mention Nova Launcher. I am a senior so.... I installed it and it asks me to import from another launcher. Doesn't that defeat the purpose of using HTC?

I have enjoyed my phone for about 18 months... really fond of it... but recently it showed no signal sign and i had to get it to a workshop who changed the SIM socket, it worked for a few days and then showed the same sign again... i read on google that quite a few people are experiencing similar problems... are you aware and do you know any solution to this?

Great video! I am still learning how to use my HTC One and found your tips helpful. I do have one problem right now with my phone and haven't found a solution. Maybe you can solve it for me. When I get a picture in a text and open it, it goes dim and I can barely see it! Is it a setting that I have to change or what? I've looked in most of the obvious places and can't find a solution. Swiping two fingers from the status bar downwards opens up the second menu instead of swiping down and pressing the button to switch to it

Hello , I use your trick to turn off the animations then this stops the sharing function in the gallery. To enable the share option i just have to turn animations back on. Maybe you should mention this in your video :(

hi there i got this htc one m7 but i didnt realize that it was rooted, when i tried to restore it it deleted most of the apps, but if i go to the browser and type app store it takes me to the app store, i tried to get into facebook and it says that its installed but they dont show up anymore, to make the story short, is there any way that it can be reset to factory rom again and remove the root without taking phone to a specialist ? thx in advance

Yeah. I agree. Pity that it is not supported for all the sources. For example. It would be great to use Blink Feed also as RSS reader. I live in Czech republic and this huge feature of HTC is useless in here.. I still love the phone.

I'm using Buzz Launcher, it's fast, doesn't drain my battery and I can download other peoples homepacks they have created and I can also upload my own homepacks. Also the 12x12 grid is awesome.

Actually there is a website it is called mp3juices It is an amazing site every song free it open a candy crush app but just press back and you should be able to search any song you want

apex launcher is much smoother than nova... plus apex has many more options that give you the ability to change almost anything on the phone. add in a good root and custom rom and the need for either one is removed.

Mine actually has an orange tint to it. If you rapidly press it to focus, it will get used to the color and get regular.

It's a known fault that occurs in lower light conditions. HTC call it a 'thermal defect' but apparently it's caused by the Zoe app, which keeps the camera lens active all the time for quick response. This causes the camera module to burn out and the purple tint starts. If you're still in warranty, they'll repair it for free.
