I have to say after using so many Android phones with so many different megapixel counts, the HTC one has come out as the best camera I've ever used on a smart phone. I'm glad that HTC didn't compete on the megapixel count front. Their low light, wide angle sensor is just amazing. With optical image stabilization, this camera just outperforms all other smart phone cameras I've used with higher MP counts. And you have to consider, we aren't photographers. We use these cameras to share moments on social media and usually those are compressed. If I were a photographer, I'd be using a DSLR or a Leica. For everyday smart phone camera use, this 4 UltraPixel camera is just a beast compared to camera's of twice or triple the megapixel count.

The way i see it, android always seems to be coming out with new features like an IR light for TVs, 3D cameras, pattern lock screens(my favorite feature), and Beats audio. iPhone's haven't really improved much. I mean the only big feature that they have so far is just Siri. After that, apple hasn't been all that exciting. I just think that android has way more features than apple right now.

I just brought a HTC one Blue, I'm very satisfied, after testing many devices (samsung,apple, Sony, , in terms of quality and price, This phone is excelent. Both Cameras are good, and after rooting the phone i'm using a dualboot OS (SENSE 5.5 and Android Kitkat) wich is amazingly stable and fast, both OS can be good for daily use. Also remote access is working with over 40000 devices.... Waiting for New Htc

I really enjoyed this review. I'm an iPhone/iOS user at heart (and love my 5S) but also recognize that not everyone shares my preference. This review was very objective and factual. You did state your personal preference for the HTC One and I can also see why. It's an awesome phone. Although there's a few things it does better than the iPhone, it still has its caveats as well. As you (and many others, myself included) said, it's all about preference.

I have a HTC ONE and its amazing i would never swith to a iphone 5s/6/7/8... because the HTC ONE is huge wtih 1080p x 1920p full metalic body and corning gorilla glass and only $50 with verizon 2 year contract also coem with beats by dre HTC ONE edition headphones just amazing phone.

I just wanna try to stick up for the HTC One for a second, I know that the benchmark scores don't mean much, but when he did the comparison he made the HTC One at a very high disadvantage because he had so much running on the phone at the time, I mean look in the status bar, there were downloads going on and on top of that there was a launcher running, and if anything will slow a phone down it is a launcher, I just don't want someone to watch this video and get turned off at the one because of the speed test, the one is a great device and I use it as my daily phone, not saying the 5s isn't good either because it is great 2

Ahmad Shaheen It is smooth. Doesn't come with a lot of bloatware. Most you can uninstall yourself. Battery life is amazing. The sound quality is also amazing. Videos on KZbin does not give this phone's screen and audio any justice. The screen is bright, sharp and very vivid. Watching movies, videos and listening to music (without earphones) is an experience all on its own. The sound is deep and clear. You'd be surprised it's coming from a PHONE! It's also powerful. I can run PPSSPP and Drastic emulator very well. This phone puts the iPhone 5S to shame. Both my parents have the 5S, and after looking at their phones, I appreciate my HTC One even more

The iphone is good if you have infant hands. it's so fucking tiny. Also watching videos on it is nowhere near as enjoyable as on the One. I actually started watching netflix in bed every night because the One's screen is incredible. If you just mostly call, text and email the iphone is more convenient for its size. If you like to surf the web, watch videos and listen to music a lot, there's no logical reason to get an iphone. (except maybe if you're an idiot and want people to think you're cool)

OK, some thoughts on that screen comparison: You didn't compare colors, which is a big part of the screen category. Additionally, the well over 100 ppi advantage the HTC One has does make a difference when it comes to zooming in on images or text. It also allows more content to be displayed on the screen at once. You downplayed this difference as being insignificant. It's actually a pretty strong advantage going for the One....

if youre debating between these phones which one to get, GET THE IPHONE!! I have the htc one. at first it was super fast and no problems whatsoever. after about 4 months it started lagging a bit and the camera sucks. the camera is only 4 megapixels but they changed the name to ultrapixels because they made the pixels bigger, you cant zoom in or it gets pixelated. my sister has the iphone and it is better than my htc one.

Funny to see the fanboy comments on this video. I love my Mac, I sport an Apple Tattoo but still favour Android over IOS. I really like the design of IOS but they keyboard is horrible and not being able to change default apps is just a major problem. Lastly there is budget. The HTC One is roughly 200 bucks less so the question is, is the better hardware the iPhone has worth the extra 200 bucks when keeping in mind you also get locked down to the way Apple wants you to use your phone? Edit. Or save another 80 bucks and get a Nexus 5.

Well I started on droid years ago. The hardware was horrible. So I went iPhone 4S. I loved it. Was way better when I jailbroke it. But I was up for upgrade at the beginning of this month. So I decided to try out the nexus 5. Supposed to be as fast as the iPhone 5. Was supposed to have LTE and all that spark stuff. Took it home. Nothing no LTE, and no 3G. Wifi was horrible. So 16 hours later I took it back. Spent $50 and got the iPhone 5s. Hands down best phone I have touched yet. With jailbreak around the corner and all. No brainer.

Well that's in part the reason why I'm looking at Android phones. I'm now on my third Android device. Also had 6 Windows Phones, 4 I phones and numerous Symbian devices. Because of the iOS's proprietarity. Everything is made to fit just this phone, which doesn't give Apple any space for "revolution" without changing the whole OS, and also requires vendor lock-in and lack of functionality. Android in its way is made to fit 100's of different phone models, it supports multitasking and has an open system. Let's make it easy: A Pentium 100 with Windows 95 is quicker than a Pentium 4/3 GHz with Windows Vista, as Windows 95 is very dated and therefore lacks functionality. Same goes with Android/iOS.
