Fun fact: most radars have a hard time detecting birds but can detect flocks mostly because of how small they are and how slow they go basically giving them a natural stealth ability The cross radar section (basically how big something shows up on radar) for a bird is 0.01 square meters the cross radar section of a Su 57 is 0.1 square meters the cross radar section of a flock of birds is a bit complicated because a flock of birds can range between 20-200 and other factors so if you want to do the research and math go for it

Air traffic control from Latvia controls the airspace off their cost like every countries. Military jets flying in commercial airspace use transponders to avoid collisions. Turning off transponders in busy commercial airspace is considered a provocation
