International Criminal Court’s Chief Prosecutor Karim Khan issued an unusual warning about alleged threats to his office and the world court. The Chief Prosecutor claimed attempts to intimidate amid buzz of possible arrest warrants against Israeli leaders including Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. “The office insists that all attempts to impede, intimidate or improperly influence its officials cease immediately,” he said in a statement.

The US, nor Russia or Ukraine are signatories to the ICC, therefore the ICC has no impact on them. The typical hypocrisy is when war crimes are mentioned by our states in the Corporate Media, without the context the US does not need to abide by the ICC or when Zylenskey valls the Russian action work crimes, knowing neither his country nor Russia is bound by the ICC. The West had no problem trying to pressure South Africa to arrest Putin if he attended a summit there last year.

The ICJ can't, and was never meant to. It was designed to be a kind of international arbitration. By its own rules the ICJ has no authority over other nations unless all nations in a case agree ahead of time to abide by its rulings. They can't even get a case started if either of the two nations refuses to take part. And that's another difference. The ICJ deals with nations. The ICC arrests and tries individuals.

Sure, but law only exists within a sovereign nation, within treaties voluntarily entered into by two or more nations, or through treaties imposed on the loser of a war. Israel never ratified the Rome statutes, and is not part of the ICC. Unless the ICC wins a war against Israel (and they don't have enough military power to occupy a Walmart), Israel doesn't answer to their "law".

You are taking at face value the assumption that the ICC has any legitimate authority. More than half the world's population is part of nations that do not recognize the authority of the ICC. The ICC is actually in the minority. What happened was some countries got together, put together a bunch of rules, and now expect the rest of the world to do what they're told. It doesn't work that way. On top of that the ICC doesn't provide public trials except when they feel like it, or the right to face your accusers, or the right to trial by impartial jury.

You would need to find a country with a military powerful enough to go and get Netanyahu, which is also a member of the ICC, and which is also more influenced by the ICC than it is by the USA. Actually, it's not a threat, it's the law. We have a law that states if the ICC ever arrests an American official or military member, the president is authorized to use "any means necessary" to recover that person. It's nicknamed "the Hague Invasion Act" because that's exactly what it authorizes.

A simple solution is to recognize that Israel never signed the Rome statute, is not subject to the ICC (just like over half the world's population), and to mind your own business. Keep in mind that the ICC has no military of its own. They would have to convince member nations to send troops into Israel to arrest people. Not even Iran is crazy enough to openly send its military into Israel, so who is?

The problem with both the ICJ and ICC, is that they need the international community to carry out its judgments in case of the former and to arrest those to be tried in case of the latter. Though the arrest warrant for Putin right now might not seem to amount to much, know that he's now essentially on house arrest in Russia, being that most foreign countries are obligated to extradite him should he visit them. And should he ever be deposed, then a successor government might even just hand him over to be rid of him. The same goes for Netanyahu and his accomplices. Should they have arrest warrants put out against them, they won't be able to travel abroad unless directly to a country that won't extradite them, severely limiting their freedom, and in case of Netanyahu, most avenues to escape prosecution at home, should he lose power.

Keep in mind that India, China, Russia, the USA, Indonesia, Pakistan, as well as several others countries don't recognize the authority of the ICC, and wont help teach the USA and Israel a lesson. You can also forget about any NATO nation. The commitment of NATO nations to each other is much stronger than any commitment they have to the ICC (the ICJ is a completely different entity and doesn't do what you seem to think it does). So who is left to teach us a lesson?
